Take a gander at the photo at the top of this post. That’s a photo of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arriving in Rwanda. They have dignitaries, soldiers and red carpets. When Netanyahu arrived last night in Washington, D.C. for chats with Administration officials and a Joint Address to Congress, there was no one available from this Administration to greet him. No Delaware Joe, no Kamala Harris and no Antony Blinken. No one. It was a sad, sad sight and evidence of the incompetence and the growing anti-Semitism at every level of this group of Marie Harfs.

Biden has an excuse he is dead, in a vegetative state recovering from a stroke, Jill breaking everything in the house Covid. Kamala Harris was in Delaware listening to a recording of Joe on the phone at the campaign center.

A couple things Joe was speaking very clearly, not mumbling or hacking up a lung. It didn’t sound right. They don’t have Zoom or FaceTime in Delaware? Doesn’t Joe have a television studio in his Rehoboth Beach House? Just saying.

Prime Minister Netanyahu was gracious about the Administration he has to work with for six more months before he left Israel this morning:

Our chief diplomat, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, couldn’t be bothered and sent no one to greet the Prime Minister and his wife. Great job, Antony.

There is not one single, solitary competent person in this Administration. Joe is hanging, so to speak, in Delaware to recover. Kamala Harris has other plans this week that are apparently more important than global politics. According to the New York Times:

Vice President Kamala Harris has declined to preside on Wednesday when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel is scheduled to address a joint meeting of Congress, staying away from a gathering that is likely to highlight the deep divisions among Democrats about his conduct of the war with Hamas.

An aide to Ms. Harris said her absence on Wednesday should not be construed as a change in her commitment to Israel’s security, but was merely a conflict with a previously scheduled event in Indianapolis. She is scheduled to speak at a convention of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., one of the nation’s oldest Black sororities, and would meet with Mr. Netanyahu this week at the White House, the aide said.

Typically, the vice president, as the president of the Senate, sits on the House rostrum beside the House speaker during joint meetings to receive a foreign leader, appearing just behind the visiting dignitary in a tacit show of support and welcome. But this week, Democrats are turning instead to Senator Benjamin Cardin of Maryland, who chairs the Foreign Relations Committee, to sit beside Speaker Mike Johnson and behind Mr. Netanyahu, according to two people familiar with the plans, who spoke about them on the condition of anonymity.

Ben Cardin is retiring and is Pro-Israel. He will still get good grift after his retirement.

CODEPINK is planning actions around the U.S. Capitol and White House this week to protest the visit of wanted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu. The days of action are part of a nationwide mobilization to D.C. by Shut It Down for Palestine to demand Netanyahu be arrested for war crimes including his role in the genocide in Gaza and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians through the illegal occupation of Palestine.

The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for him and Yoav Gallant, the Minister of Defense of Israel. Just last week, the ICJ, UN’s highest court, released its findings that Israel’s settlement policies, exploitation of natural resources, and continued occupation of Palestine to be in violation of international law, ordering reparations for damages as well as an end to Israel’s occupation.

“A visit by Netanyahu to Congress and the US confirms something we already knew: the United States of America financially and morally supports the slaughter of Palestinians happening in Gaza.” Nour Jaghama, CODEPINK’s Palestine Campaign Coordinator continued, “They are no better than Netanyahu and every single Israeli official who orders the dropping of bombs on sieges on hospitals.”

The coalition, consisting of the Palestinian Youth Movement, National Students for Justice in Palestine, CODEPINK, ANSWER Coalition, The People’s Forum, International Peoples’ Assembly, Al-Awda – NY, and the Palestinian American Community Center (PACC) – NJ, intends to surround the Capitol on Wednesday July 24 and issue a notice of Citizen’s Arrest for Benjamin Netanyahu for crimes against humanity.

Mr. Netanyahu has asked to meet with former President Trump this week. Oh, I think they better be careful. Reprehensibles Adam Schiff and Jamie Raskin will impeach both Trump and Netanyahu because they are those kinds of guys.
