No, below is not Darth Vadar, it's your failed DEI Secretary of Defense @SecDef Lloyd Austin. A new day dawns as Pete Hegseth awaits confirmation. LFG! pic.twitter.com/76ZQhGvK7l

In case you don’t remember, because everything with FJBiden Administration is Sturm und Drang (storm and stress), the Biden SecDef Lloyd Austin disappeared for days a couple times without notifying ANYONE! The Defense Department Inspector General Investigated the disappearances and found that Austin increased National Security Risks. No duh!
Lloyd Austin transferred his responsibilities as defense secretary to a subordinate on two separate occasions last year and didn’t inform Congress as required by federal law, according to an explosive inspector general report released Wednesday. The revelation marks another instance in which Austin has been caught going MIA while leading the Pentagon.
You can read the full Inspector General Report here. Austin had an inordinate need for secrecy regarding his prostate cancer diagnosis. From the report:
(U) Secretary Austin’s strong desire for privacy about his medical condition is a thread
that runs through all the events that we reviewed, including in his public statements
about his hospitalization. His desire for privacy was well known by his staff and
affected many of the events at issue in various ways. For example, Secretary Austin(U) kept information about his medical treatment on December 22, 2023, private from
Deputy Secretary Hicks; Ms. Magsamen; Gen Brown; Lieutenant General (LTG) Ronald
Clark, the Secretary’s senior military assistant; and nearly all of his staff. Not only did
Secretary Austin not tell Deputy Secretary Hicks or his senior staff about his medical
condition or appointments, he specifically told one junior staff member “if anyone had
any questions they’re more than welcome to ask [me] directly,” an admonition not likely
to foster further inquiry. Secretary Austin only told his Personal Security Officer (PSO)
and his Junior Military Assistant (JMA) that he was going to receive medical care at
WRNMMC, and only his doctors knew that he was receiving treatment for prostate
cancer and under general anesthesia.
In one instance, Hope Hicks was not aware that she was acting SecDef and was not in the country. That shows an inconceivable dereliction on the part of Lloyd Austin. Utterly inexcusable. Apparently, Mr. Austin forgot about how the Department of Defense Chain of Command works.
I am disappointed in Austin although I shouldn’t be. I had a heart for General Austin because he was Airborne. Something happens to Generals once they transition to Raytheon and back to the Pentagon. One of the first things, Austin did as Secretary of Defense was to sign a Stand Down Order for one day to look for extremism in the ranks. Dear God, what an a$$hole. This was followed by the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Coach Tuberville gives a beautiful narrative about this National Security Risk, the lack of accountability and why Pete Hegseth should be confirmed immediately.
I just read an EXTREMELY DISTURBING IG report.
Last December, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was hospitalized and failed to follow the law by notifying the White House or Congress.
Turns out, the same thing happened AGAIN in June. The Secretary of Defense went AWOL TWICE… pic.twitter.com/wJfXBFniW1

Lloyd Austin apologized, but prostate cancer is treatable and not a shameful subject. One could even say that Austin did a disservice to all his soldiers by not encouraging to keep up their healthcare and advice their chain of command.
The best way to remedy this egregious mistake is to confirm Pete Hegseth immediately.

One always has to keep in mind that, just because someone has been in the military, or even in a unit considered elite, or even achieved the highest of ranks – they may still be, as I’ve heard said about many, “ten pounds of bullshit in a five pound bag.”
Unfortunately, far too much of the sewage rose to the top in the three Obama terms. Secretary Hegseth has a task equal to the Augean stables ahead of him.
The Colonels and Captains hoping for flag rank all knew that they needed to toe the political correctness line or they’d top out at O-6, so they did.
