Meghan And Harry: The Final Takeaways

If we took only one thing away from the Netflix Docuseries on Meghan and Harry, it should be that when an American divorce marries a British Prince, it doesn’t do either country any favors. Meghan and Harry and Wallis and Edward. Although M didn’t marry the heir to the throne, she was given everything Wallis was denied, but the estrangement is the same. The show was an interesting peek into Harry’s brain. If he stays in therapy long enough, he may work it all out but, he’s not that sharp.

I have never been one to squee over actors or crush on a member of some band. I have always been a royal watcher. The idea of duty over everything appeals to me and no one does pomp like the British. Plus, deep down in our cold, cold hearts the Victory Girls love a love story and we fell for this one hook like and sinker. After Megxit. we are off H & M. Nina wrote about expecting Meghan and Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to whine about their privileged lives. Lisa wrote sarcastically about the Sussexes’s “Strategic Charm Offensive”. The charm offensive worked for the BBC. The network’s Culture & Media editor wrote:

The programme lays bare the emotional toll the couple feel they suffered at the hands of the media and the royal family.

They talk about Meghan’s struggle with thoughts of suicide. Harry admits that he “didn’t deal with it well”. Meghan’s mother, Doria, cries as she says it “broke my heart” to hear her daughter wanted to take her own life.

They share their belief that the miscarriage Meghan experienced was brought on by stress, as a result of the court case against Associated Newspapers.

They film paparazzi in helicopters, boats and cars surrounding their Canadian home. They discuss how scared they felt.

Most people watching couldn’t help but feel a lot of sympathy. Of course, the narrative is one-sided. We are hearing only their perspective.

The programme-makers opt for an emotion-laden soundtrack to ensure we understand their suffering. (At one point, pointedly, we hear the lyrics from Roberta Flack’s Do What You Gotta Do: “I loved you better than your own kin did”).

But although we may be being manipulated, their pain is clear to see.

She is way too kind. The more I read about this couple, the more I believed these too were meant to be together. Meghan really truly thought if she snagged Harry, she could bring her “star power” into the monarchy and move up in rank. Bwa ha ha. This article was written in April of 2021 and is spot on:

“Markle assumed by entering into the British royal family she would have the ability, like in her Hollywood life, to increase her rank in the royal family. This is where Markle fell down because she severely mistook or was ignorant to the fact that there is very rarely a move up the ranks in the monarchy. Once you are put in a certain rank, that’s it, unless you are crowned a regent at some point.

“This is why Markle, who is a power mad narcissistic megalomaniac, could not handle her mid to lower level position in the royal family and started to kick up a storm with her Hollywood tantrums.

“Prince Harry once said ‘What Meghan wants Meghan gets’ and he was correct in his observation, because once Markle found out she could not get the same status as William and Kate, she embarked on her plan to ruin Harry’s life by taking him away from the royal family to North America.

“Psychopathic traits are key to Meghan Markle’s psychosis, and one thing these people do is they create havoc wherever they go.

That disordered thinking is what led Harry to claim the Meghan was doing a better job than those long working Royals:

While she was complaining about not getting paid in Australia for her Royal Tour? Or, while she was treating the staff like serfs? Pro-tip: Never trust people who don’t treat those around them well.

Rita Panahi and Paul Murray, my favorite Australian presenters took this apart perfectly. The supporting act was stealing the spotlight?

So Meghan outed herself but so did Harry. I am not a psychotherapist, but I have seen a therapist personally. I believe Harry has long, long resented William, because of their birth order. William got seniority by birth. William gets to be King and Harry is the “spare”. The name of his soon to come book “Spare” is so obvious. Now, that William and Kate have three babies, Harry will only become more irrelevant. It’s also obvious that the near middle-aged Prince is scarred from his mother’s death. Therapy is good and he should stay in.

The flaming hypocrisy is so evident. Meghan cut off her Dad because he let the press take pictures of him getting a cutaway suit. Yet, M and H got $100,000,000.00 for selling out the Royal Family and filming their two babies. The pair blame Meghan’s miscarriage on the stress of Megxit. Did the stress of dealing with Harry and Meghan kill Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth? They never look inward for the answer.

There is so much more in this Docuseries. But, it all adds up to the same thing. You can call Harry and Meghan the Ginger and the Whinger or the Narcissist and the Cuck. They are hypocritical sell-outs.
