On CNN, a “journalist” named Kara Swisher called Elon Musk’s epic rant a “meltdown”. Miss Swisher has been a tech writer for decades which does not mean she knows more about Musk’s motivations. As a matter of fact, Swisher comes off as quite jealous. But, then, who wouldn’t like to have the kind of Eff You money Musk has. Speaking of Eff You, did you hear Musk’s rant?

It all started, in mid-November, when “some people” claimed that Elon Musk endorsed an antisemitic tweet:

An X post Wednesday afternoon said: “Jewish communties (sic) have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them.” The post also referenced “hordes of minorities” flooding Western countries, a popular antisemitic conspiracy theory.

In response, Musk said: “You have said the actual truth.”

Clearly, those angered do not understand the meaning of dialectical hatred. Could be a real debate using reason instead of emotional appeals. Instead of asking Musk what he meant, the masses called him an antisemite. Elon is not an antisemite, he is a target.

Antisemitism is foul and ugly. We have seen the poisoned fruits of Antisemitism in the attacks by Hamas in Israel. By the Antisemitic riots in capital cities of the Western world. And, our Kim told you about the vile behavior of the Hamas-loving Antisemites last night at the Christmas tree lighting in NYC.

Because of the Antisemitism charge and the threats they’ve received, many large advertisers like ABC/Disney and others have pulled their ads from X/Twitter. The great thing is Elon has Eff You money and knows it. At a New York Times book festival, Elon let the Eff Yous fly:

For those of us who may never, ever have Eff You money, that was absolutely glorious. For someone like Kara Swisher, who is deeply embedded as a cog in the machinery, she couldn’t possibly understand this elegance of having Eff You money. That is why she reacted as a little brain would:

“It’s fascinating to me, though, as we watch this, right, and he’s there on the stage, and he seems to really be enjoying the moment, we have this estimate that from The New York Times, I believe, that he’s going to lose $75 million in revenue,” said Hill. “And he’s sort of saying, fine, we don’t need you. But the business itself needs them, and they’re going away because of what he did.”

“Yes, yes, he’s — let me just underscore for the audience, he’s 52 years old,” said Swisher. “This is a 52-year-old man who feels the need to say dirty words to make people shocked. It’s just — it’s bizarre and he caused the problem, and he wants to blame them for exercising their First Amendment right not to advertise on his terrible platform, I think. It’s really bizarre. It was a bizarre performance. It was a meltdown. He seemed — he attacked Bob Iger, who was in the audience, the head of Disney, for just not wanting to advertise on him. It was so strange, and he’s done it before. He’s attacked advertisers when he first bought the company because he was frustrated, but again, let me underscore, he’s 52 years old and the richest person in the world, and I’m sorry, he’s — that’s not how adults behave. It’s how adult toddlers behave.”

This is a 52 year old man with Eff You money. He speaks for all of us who are tired of being told how to live.

The funniest part of the interview. By the way, Elon Musk did not charge a speaking fee for this because he and Jonathan are friends:

It is an elegant and glorious thing to watch a man decide not to pander or compromise. Elon Musk has Tesa, Space X, Zip 2 and Neuralink. Elon Musk has contracts with NASA to deliver payloads to the International Space Station and build lunar landers. The advertisers will come back to X. If they don’t, it will go bankrupt and Elon with come up with a better idea.
