We’ve heard a lot about what seems to be a pretty innocuous meeting between former Senator, now Attorney General, Jeff Sessions and the Russian ambassador, Sergey Kislyak. The Democrats would probably like the spotlight to stay on AG Sessions, but they’ve opened up a slimy can of worms and they are smack in the middle of it.

Prominent Democrats are heavily involved in lobbying for or representing Russian interests in the United States. Tony Podesta, brother of John, had a hand in getting a Russian company ownership of 20% of uranium stocks in the U.S. Bill Clinton got half a million dollars for a speech related to the same people. The Clinton Foundation profited, unsurprisingly, from Russian money, and Lanny Davis represents a shady character associated with Russian profit skimming deals. The Democrats’ purported high ground is about to get very low.

Their Russian love goes even further down the chain. Liberal political activists and journalists are padding their bank accounts with the Russian ruble, and think we are none the wiser. They are their own worst enemy. But for overplaying their hand on this ridiculous Russian tampering narrative, we might not have discovered that many are drawing regular paychecks from Mr. Putin’s flagship TV network “RT.”

Many who participate in RT programming are more than happy to bash America and defend Russia. Probably the biggest jewel in the RT crown is Green Party darling Jill Stein. In 2015, Stein spoke on a panel entitled “Frenemies” where she challenged the view that Russia was an “enemy state.” Stein condemned “this very simplistic defense of who is our friend and who is our enemy is counterproductive.”

Aww, that’s so noble and high-minded. And so hypocritical now that any contact with Russia is apparently tantamount to treason! But Jill needed the money and the exposure: RT was the sole television sponsor of the Green Party event where she was nominated for the 2016 presidential run. Seems like the enemy of our enemy might be her friend!

Other notable Lefties close with RT, either as hosts of shows or through partnerships, are Larry King, Ed Schultz, Max Blumenthal, son of Sid, Tyrel Ventura, daughter of Jesse, Sean Stone, son of Oliver, Chris Hedges, a NY Times reporter, Mike Papantonio, who worked with Al Franken on Air America, Matt Keiser, a HuffPo writer, and Carlos Slim, who partners with Larry King for their RT venture, and is a major shareholder of the NY Times.

These people are unbelievably sleazy hypocrites. Do not get sucked into the Left’s fantastical tales of Russian intrigue and treachery. Their lies are being exposed daily and it’s only a matter of time before they lose their grip on power. Clearly, their grip on reality is getting very slippery.
