Jasmine Crockett: From Congress To Content Creator?

Jasmine Crockett: From Congress To Content Creator?

The Texas redistricting fight is putting Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s seat in jeopardy. The state House passed new maps that could shove her out of Congress faster than her last viral meltdown went viral. Crockett, known less for policy and more for posing, may soon be shopping for her next hustle.

She laughs off accusations of being a no-show diva boss, but the truth is harder to laugh away. When colleagues describe you as absent, self-absorbed, and allergic to serious work, that is not just bad optics. It is an open invitation for the mapmakers to draw you out. Redistricting is basically the political version of getting unfollowed, and Jasmine Crockett is about to find out what happens when Texas voters hit block.

She’s been all over social media, rage posting and finger pointing, especially at President Trump. To the casual observer, it may be hard to tell the difference, after all, rage posting about Trump is kind of her schtick. But as Jazzy travels through the stages of grief at the potential loss of her cushy DC House seat, it becomes more apparent. The entitled Jazzy lacks the coping skills to deal with her new reality. She’s becoming a has-been before she’s had the chance to become a somebody.

In her latest Pee-Wee Herman-esque ‘I know you are, but what am I’ rant, Jazzy points out that while she may be headed out the door, Trump’s days in office are numbered as well. – Twitchy

Former staffers paint a picture of Jasmine Crockett as more pop star than public servant. Instead of showing up to do the job, she’s lounging around, barking at aides, and demanding Escalades like she’s headlining a tour. It’s pure Beyoncé cosplay but minus the talent, the work ethic, and the sold-out arenas.

Wannabe Influencer in the Wrong Office

Crockett seems more at home in front of a ring light than behind a committee desk. She never bothered to learn policy, but she knows how to pose for TikTok. She is not fighting for Texas; she is chasing likes. Congress needs lawmakers, not influencers. But Jasmine acts like the House floor is just another stage for her next gig.

If voters send her packing, she won’t have to change much. She can finally lean into her natural talent: performing outrage for a camera.

Since her days in Congress may be numbered, I’ve been thinking about what comes next for “Jazzy.” She could always reinvent herself as a Wig Reviewer, hopping on YouTube to rate lace fronts while ignoring legislation the same way she ignored committee work. Or maybe she’ll lean into her natural skillset as a Clout Coordinator, teaching interns how to strike a pose on C-SPAN instead of passing bills. And if Al Sharpton is finally ready to hand over the race-baiting baton, Crockett would make a fine apprentice under his wing, learning how to turn outrage into a paycheck.

And then, of course, there’s the media route. She could launch The Crying Caucus, a podcast where whining is the only policy platform. MSNBC or MS Now or whatever they are calling themselves these days might even roll out a show called Crockett After Dark, or better yet, Race to the Bottom.

The Clout Curtain Falls

If redistricting cuts her career short after just two terms, Jasmine Crockett will spin it as an injustice. She’ll cry racism, sexism, or any other convenient scapegoat. But the truth is, she treated Congress like a stage for self-promotion. Voters and mapmakers alike aren’t impressed by the influencer routine.

Jasmine Crockett may soon be unemployed, but don’t worry. She’ll land on her feet. Instagram always needs another attention-seeker, MSNBC always needs another race-baiting pundit, and America always has room for another podcast nobody listens to.

Her future is bright, but only if the ring light is plugged in.
