J.K. Rowling: Happy Anniversary And Nerts To The Trans Activists

Congratulations and pop the champagne. Harry Potter’s literary mother, J.K. Rowling, and her husband, Dr. Neil Murray, celebrated their 23rd anniversary this week. Happily, long-time married love is certainly worth celebrating, right? Well, erm, not if you are a mentally unhinged, unhappy, jealous radical Trans Activist. They are terminally miserable and must attempt to make everyone else in the world as unhappy as they are. But, they lose, as long as we celebrate Rowling and Murray.

J.K. Rowling has been “swatted” and “outed” and pranked in every fashion you can think of. That’s part of why she is notoriously close about her private life. It was lovely to see her post on X:

Most people aren’t warped trolls so they would say “Congratulations” or “Mazel Tov” or “Bon Anniversaire” or even “Hau’oli la Ho’omana’o”. Angry Trans Activist trolls can’t let anyone be happy:

This is actually quite mild a response to anything Rowling writes on social media who was outed as a TERF four years ago in Forbes Magazine:

A tweet may be limited to only 280 characters, but it can convey so much more. In the case of celebrated author J.K. Rowling, who rose to fame with her best-selling Harry Potter series of wizardry and other fantastic tales, a single tweet she sent Thursday confirmed suspicions that she is a TERF.

“TERF” is an acronym for transgender exclusionary radical feminist, a term reportedly coined more than a decade ago by a cisgender heterosexual woman who works as a writer in Sydney, Australia. To some, TERF is a slur; to others, a descriptive. Viv Smythe wrote in The Guardian last year that the term she invented has “been weaponized at times by both those who advocate trans-inclusion in feminist/female spaces, and those who push for trans-exclusion from female-only spaces.”

While Rowling did not go so far as to advocate for physical exclusion of trans women, her tweet — her first in a month — makes clear she supports those who argue against including trans women in the very idea of “female.”

Duh, yeah. We understand biology. We also understand the bullying of angry Trans Activists. They are saying acknowledge us as women or we will bow up against you like the schoolyard bullies we really are.

We are not putting up with it from anyone on any side who says don’t defend J.K. Rowling, she is not Conservative. Oh, do shut up, please. They act like this:
J.K. Rowling

We don’t have to love everything someone believes in to support biological reality.

Misha is here reading some of the TERF tweets from Rowling is spot on. The Trans Activists don’t understand the purpose of menstruation or the meaning of the words “shedding the uterine lining”. Gah!

Wise young woman. J.K. Rowling has been cancelled again:

JK Rowling has acknowledged her “cancellation” after sharing a post celebrating her wedding anniversary.

The Harry Potter author has been met with strong backlash in recent years over her outspoken stance on trans women, which many, including LGBT+ spokespeople, have deemed transphobic.

Rowling’s comments on the trans community also prompted stars of the Potter film franchise, including Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, to distance themselves from the author and her work.

On Tuesday (26 December), Rowling addressed the negative response caused by her remarks after sharing a photo alongside her husband, Scottish doctor Neil Murray.

The author then shared a response she’d received that said: “I hope he leaves you for a trans woman,” to which she commented: “I just read this to Neil and he said something that made me laugh so hard I nearly coughed up a kidney.”

When one of Rowling’s followers urged her to reveal what her husband had said, Rowling replied: “I’m not about to get my husband cancelled. One in the family’s enough!”

One is probably enough per family. I started following @mslistersis on X a year and a half ago. She says it flat out and up front. Women should all be as forthright as @mslistersis:

Don’t let them cancel J.K. Rowling or mslistersis or anyone else who understands biological reality.

Ungrateful little shits. Your career got a major boost when you were chosen to be the main characters in a beloved franchise and you pay her back this way.

In no way is this a commentary on any of this – but somehow, when the whole “TERF” thing came out, I was given the impression that Ms. Rowling was a lesbian.

Happy anniversary, Ms. Rowling. I cannot say I’m personally a fan of your books (my girlfriend at the time made me watch the first movie and I’m pretty sure that’s why we broke up), but my daughter and a whole generation of the world’s youth fell in love with reading thanks to you. You deserve all the success you’ve won, and (while we won’t ever agree on every issue) you’ve earned my eternal support in standing up for your principles.
