Well, the lawyers couldn’t get him out of this one. Hunter Biden showed up to court today in Arkansas, with a team of lawyers in tow.

And I do mean LAWYERS.

For a man pleading to reduce his child support obligation due to financial hardship, Hunter Biden sure does have some expensive legal representation flying in to Arkansas. It’s not like he’s got public defenders from Little Rock working for him.

Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, complained at the court hearing Monday about alleged leaks to the press. Lowell, a high-profile DC defense attorney who is now representing Hunter Biden on several fronts, said the press stories were creating the false impression that he is a “deadbeat dad.”

It’s important to “let the world know” that Hunter Biden is keeping his word and paying his child support, Lowell said. “He is paying what he agreed to.”

Lowell also suggested that people tied to Roberts may be giving the press sensitive information that they obtained as part of the legal case. Roberts’ attorneys denied those allegations Monday in court.”

It is a fair question to ask who is paying the bill for Abbe Lowell, who is a very well-connected Democrat-friendly lawyer – but very high-profile and expensive. Is Lowell doing Hunter – or Joe – a favor here? Is this some kind of “charity work” on Lowell’s part, or is someone paying his very large bill? Again, if Hunter had just kept his mouth shut and not asked for the reduction in child support, this entire situation could have been avoided, and he wouldn’t be on the hot seat regarding his finances and the laptop. So much for being “the smartest man” that Joe Biden knows, huh?

The Hunter Biden legal team revealed today that he has been paying $20,000 a month for child support, for a total up to this point of $750,000. While that seems like a lot, that is what both parties settled on before, and it’s Hunter who is now seeking to reduce that number. But in doing so, he opened up discovery – and Lunden Roberts’s lawyers are not going to let that go.

The paternity case was reopened last September when Hunter asked the court to recalculate his monthly payments due to an alleged “substantial material change” in his financial situation. It has previously been reported he had agreed to a payment totaling round $2.5 million for Navy.”

His baby mama quickly fired back by demanding proof of Hunter’s financial records — including his art sales, properties and even details of his tax issues.”

Her lawyers also rejected Hunter’s assertion of so-called financial difficulties, saying in court docs that the president’s son is actually “living lavishly” and has retained $850-per-hour attorneys to help him fight his case.”

“Mr. Biden claims to be nothing more than a Yale educated attorney/artist who is somewhat financially destitute and needs his child support adjusted,” Roberts’ attorney, Clinton Lancaster, wrote in a 12-page motion.”

“However, for an artist living on meager means, Mr. Biden is living lavishly.”

The attorney added: “He travels the world on the safest and most comfortable airplane in existence — Air Force One.”

Fact check: true, even if Grandpa Joe can’t remember that trip to Ireland just a week later.

Judge Holly Meyer seems annoyed with the Hunter Biden legal team.

The judge on Monday said the ability to redact information is “being abused” by the Biden team.”

Langdon cited last week’s Daily Mail article on the case, claiming it included redacted information in violation of a protective order in exposing income-tax records. Meyer disagreed and said what the press comes up with is out of her control, remarking, “I can’t gag the whole world.”

From the Biden team, Lancaster requested information on the value of Biden’s art, the president son’s salary/employment for past 5 years, estates/funds from foreign persons/domestic persons/family members, flight/hotel payments, the reason for a promissory note from top Hollywood lawyer, Kevin Morris, and documents on business done with a Chinese firm.”

In response, Langdon claimed his team has already turned over more than 490 documents. Biden’s attorney also requested Roberts’ tax returns, information on “fringe benefits” from her employer father, bank statements and Ziegler’s witness statements.”

The deadline for discovery was set for May 12 at 5 p.m.”

And Hunter will be required to sit for a deposition under oath in June, in preparation for the bench trial in July. And Hunter’s lawyers, presumably at his direction, are demanding “strict proof” that letting Navy Joan have the Biden last name would be in her “best interest.” What an asshole. Is it Hunter’s attitude or Joe and Jill’s directives that is driving the ugly reaction to his daughter? Regardless, his contempt for this little girl and her mother have now opened the door to the financial records and the laptop.

With the potential federal charges against Hunter Biden stalled out, possibly due to interference by Merrick Garland himself (if the whistleblower has the receipts), it would be ironic for a family court judge in Arkansas to finally be the one to put Hunter Biden under oath first and get some answers out of him. Does anyone think that a lawyer of the caliber and experience of Abbe Lowell is showing up in Arkansas for a mere child support dispute just because he likes Hunter? Team Biden knows that Hunter’s dick has exposed the entire financial house of cards, and they are redacting information to the extent that even the JUDGE says they’re “abusing” the practice.

If Hunter was smart, he would withdraw the entire case and simply stick to the agreed-upon child support, and let Navy Joan taken the Biden name. Again, that would be the fastest way to get this out of the news. But either Hunter is not smart, or the Biden gravy train has dried up as it is under greater scrutiny than it’s ever had before, or someone else is paying Hunter’s legal bills to keep this little girl far away from the family. Or, it could be all of the above. I’m leaning toward all of the above – which means this summer could be quite a reckoning for Hunter Biden.
