Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles was handed a one-week suspension from YouTube for, YouTube claims, “hate speech”. Was it real “hate” or something else?

YouTube finally deigned to specify why Knowles was being punished, and it was about what you’d expect when the Left hears things it doesn’t agree with.

Knowles explained that, according to YouTube, a number of his videos discussing topics related to far-left gender ideology contained “hate speech.” The content cited by the platform included calling the idea that men can be women “delusional,” referring to notorious trans TikToker Dylan Mulvaney as “he,” and pointing out that Éliphas Lévi’s Baphomet was androgynous.

YouTube’s tortured reasoning is that to criticize an idea or ideology is the equivalent of attacking … with Hate™ … an individual or group that holds that idea. In Knowles case, any criticism of TransgenderISM (or Queer Theory or Rainbow Flags or Pride Month) is an act of hate directed at LGBTQ+ADNAUSEUM as surely as burning a cross on the black family’s lawn. Knowles “hate” is just another Trans genociding.

Seriously, though, as much as Knowles lays out how his own opinions — mainstream opinions at that — don’t meet any definition of hate, he’s spinning his wheels. Because this isn’t about hate as rational people understand the word. This is about blasphemy.

It’s important to remember that the il-liberal Left doesn’t operate as a political ideology even as their embrace of BigNannyGovernment and rejection of capitalism dominates their discourse. The Left has infiltrated most cultural institutions in this country and trots out its anti-Judeo-Christian rhetoric at every opportunity. The Left operates as a religion, and a very jealous one. Currently, its most dominate denomination is the TQ+ faction of the so-called LGBTQ community. The TQ+ advocates and acolytes are very aggressive in policing speech and committing violence on any one they deem a heretic or apostate. Blasphemy, whether from Knowles, JK Rowling, Jordan Peterson, Kellie-Jay Keen, or Riley Gaines, is to be met with canceling, boycotts, or violence. Their capture of corporations, who must slather their lintels and doorposts with rainbow paint, during Pride Month is glaringly obvious.

Heterodoxy isn’t hate. Disagreement isn’t hate. Criticism of ideas, ideology and opinion isn’t hate.

It is blasphemy. Understand what is happening and stop trying to justify yourself to intolerant, bigoted, zealous religious fanatics.

That’s what they are. That’s what they do. Act accordingly.
