The New York Times, The Washington Post, and CBS News are all feeling thrills up their legs. Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas, texted with Mark Meadows, President Trump’s Chief of Staff, after the 2020 election. This is it, they are squealing. The Left is sure this time that they will soon have Trump, Meadows, Ginni Thomas finally held accountable for the crime of questioning the results of the Presidential election. Bonus points for smearing Clarence Thomas yet again.
The Democrats and their media associates are getting desperate. Joe Biden is a dumpster fire in a natural disaster as the Oval Office Occupant. The world is going to Hell in a handcart, because no one in his Junta is capable, competent or qualified in his/her job. Americans know it in their hearts and minds. Time to hold up a shiny object and distract the people.
No one in the Trump Administration wanted violence on January 6, 2020. It sure looks like the FBI inserted itself into the crowd to foment violence and destruction. The January 6 Committee has gone looking for Republican villains to blame and to lead directly to President Trump. They have subpoenaed everyone but Melania and Baron Trump.
Last night, the New York Times reported that CBS News and the Washington Post have obtained information from the J6 Committee that show Ginni Thomas texted Mark Meadows. Here is the breathless reporting from the Times:
The committee obtained 29 texts between Ms. Thomas and Mr. Meadows — 28 exchanged between Nov. 4 and Nov. 24, and one written on Jan. 10. The text messages, most of which were written by Ms. Thomas, represent the first evidence that she was directly advising the White House as it sought to overturn the election. She was communicating not only with Mr. Meadows, but also with Connie Hair, the chief of staff to Louie Gohmert, the Texas Republican congressman who sued Vice President Mike Pence to force him to certify Mr. Trump as the victor of the 2020 election.
The J6 Committee was sure they had Mark Meadows because he texted with Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham and Brian Kilmeade, as Nina wrote nearly four months ago. The Committee leaks this information to sway the public and then we find out that everyone involved was abhorring the violence of the day.
It’s no shock that Ms. Thomas would have Mark Meadows’ text number. She is a very long time Conservative activist and spoke at the 2017 CPAC Convention. The Left has had the long knives out for both of the Thomas’s for years. And, Mrs. Thomas has had it in for Joe Biden since his high-tech lynching of her husband in 1991.
What did Ginni Thomas text to Mark Meadows?
In one message sent in the days after the election, she urged the chief of staff, Mark Meadows, to “release the Kraken and save us from the left taking America down,” invoking a slogan popular on the right that refers to a web of conspiracy theories that Trump supporters believed would overturn the election.
In another, she wrote: “I can’t see Americans swallowing the obvious fraud. Just going with one more thing with no frickin consequences.” She added: “We just cave to people wanting Biden to be anointed? Many of us can’t continue the GOP charade.”
Mrs. Thomas was echoing my thoughts during those days. I wanted every rock turned over and every machine inspected. I wanted the Kraken released. I didn’t want Joe Biden anointed. And, I have been over the GOP charade for two decades. If I had had Mark Meadows’ text number I would have texted him. The Kraken comment was a reference to Sidney Powell, who was dismissed from the Trump team.
According to Raw Story, Meadows shut Ginni Thomas down regarding the Kraken:
By Nov. 22, Trump gave his blessing for Giuliani and another Trump lawyer, Jenna Ellis, to issue a statement claiming that Powell ‘is not a member of the Trump Legal Team,'” reported Bob Woodward and Robert Costa. “Thomas reached out to Meadows that day with concern. ‘Trying to understand the Sidney Powell distancing,’ she wrote. ‘She doesn’t have anything or at least she won’t share it if she does,’ Meadows texted back. ‘Wow!’ Thomas replied. Meadows did not respond.”
Reporter Robert Costa was on CBS News with his gleeful reporting:
Omg, Ginni Thomas was at the January 6 Rally. Stop the presses. Her attorney, Mr. Terwilliger asserted on the record that there is nothing in these texts that represents any legal jeopardy for Mr. Meadows. As a private citizen Ginni Thomas is within her rights to contact members of the government.
The J6 Committee whiffs again.
