Ellen Page, Actress, Now Trans Elliot

Actress Ellen Page, who came out as gay several years ago, has announced that she is transgender and that her name is Elliot. Page, known for her roles in Juno and Whip It, has declared that her pronouns are “He/They”. Well, excuse me, I know it’s 24 days until Christmas, but I am not in the mood to play reindeer games.

SheKnows.com was positively verklempt in announcing that “Juno Star Elliot Page’s Emotional Essay Coming Out as Transgender Is Today’s Required Reading”. The article calls Ellen Page “incredibly brave” and notes that the actress has “pledged not to stop pushing for a more equal society for all in a world where the transgender community faces disproportionate threats of violence every day. Oy vey. This is the same Ellen Page who attempted to lecture Senator Ted Cruz on gay persecution and who blamed Vice President Mike Pence for the attack on Jessie Smollett, that we know Smollett choreographed himself. Yeah, I give a fat rat’s backside if the actress considers herself a two-toed sloth. Think of the slurs against sloths, Ellen. Think what a crusader for sloth acceptance you could be.

Here for your amusement is the full statement by “Elliot”:

To me, Ellen Page has always seemed like a seriously troubled child. She comes off, often, like a little bully and a scold, but always like a self-centered, troubled child. Read her statement. There are some many “I’s” in there that it made me sing: “Aye yai, yai, yai, I am a transgender named Elliot”. The last bit of her statement proves my point:

“I love that I am trans. And I love that I am queer. And the more I hold myself close and fully embrace who I am, the more I dream, the more my heart grows and the more I thrive.”

You think those words sound remarkably myopic and cringey, wait until you hear them read by this KTLA reporter:

You cringed, right?

What’s remarkable about that is that the actress has been married to Emma Portner for two years. The statement issued by Ellen Page makes no mention of anyone but herself. Did Page discuss this transition with her partner? What will it mean for their relationship and their future? Did her partner encourage this transition? I have a gay friend whose partner decided he was a transwoman. The relationship ended because my friend likes guys, not girls. This is a big discussion to have. This is bigger than a career change or where you will live. This changes the entire dynamic of the relationship. Is Ellen still gay, if she is really a man born in the wrong body, or is she now straight? And, how can you be gay or straight in the new non-binary world? It’s all so confusing.

Also, the Trans Industrial Complex has a bullying, all or nothing agenda. Has Ellen Page fallen victim to these bullies. In case you don’t know what a vicious group the Trans Lobby is, you should read this article from the Humanum Review. Here is a brief paragraph:

Radical feminists had similar aims. In 1970, Marxist-feminist Shulamith Firestone wrote that“[t]he end goal of feminist revolution must be…not just the elimination of male privilege but of the sex distinction itself.” Then “the tyranny of the biological family would be broken,” “unobstructed pansexuality” would replace heterosexuality, and “all forms of sexuality would be allowed and indulged.” Firestone argued that “[u]nless revolution uproots the basic social organization, the biological family…the tapeworm of exploitation will never be annihilated.”

And:

Ideologues working alone lack the power to embed their beliefs in the culture. But when ideologues join forces with cultural and economic power players—philanthropists, transnational corporations, governments, international organizations, thought-leaders, and advocacy groups, all drawn together by a confluence of interests—the results are transformative. And disastrous. The harm extends beyond the confused and suffering individuals ensnared by the “gender web,” to the cultural and social institutions collapsing amidst anthropological deceit and moral chaos.

Look, I don’t care who you love or how you identify. Life’s too short to get caught up in other people’s mishegas. Ellen Page has been a social justice bully from five minutes after she got famous. Then, she was a crusading Lesbian, now she’s a pioneering trans. But, commenter Chad Felix Greene won the internet for the entire year of 2020, which is saying something, with this tweet:

And, Ellen/Elliot Page’s head just exploded.

Ellen, you are not brave, you are mentally ill. And a drama queen. (Which sounds like it should be a good thing for an actress to be. But it isn’t.)

Man/womankind has a long history of trying to bend reality to it’s desires. Reality will always kick your butt. Oh it might take a few decades but reality will never budge. For Ellen/Elliot: Beware, massive unmitigated misery marches your way.

And there’s why she “came out” – it makes her look virtuous. It makes her look “brave” to the glitterati. Being a lesbian wasn’t enough for that anymore, so she had to notch it up a level.

You think those words sound remarkably myopic
Yes. And very much like someone looking for approval from the high priests of Progressivism. It’s like going on a pilgrimage. And, fortunately for her, they’ll never demand she put her whole body into it.

The statement issued by Ellen Page makes no mention of anyone but herself.
    Yes, progressivism is inherently narcissistic.

    anthropological deceit
    I like that phrase.

Ultimately, I don’t care. She’s a celebrity, and I’ve never much cared for them or about them.
But some people do. And because of that she will be one of those, in the long run, wishing they had had a millstone tied about their neck and cast into the sea.

Exactly! Throw her, him, it a bone. We all know how difficult it is to get attention in 2020.

Can we complain about appropriation since she took the role of Kitty Pride from a straight woman?

    Almost forgot:
“a community in which 40% of trans adults report attempting suicide.”

Ellen dear, the trans community has always had that high suicide rate. It’s because a lot of them have other mental illnesses and they learn that the magical surgery doesn’t make their problems go away.

The Beatles were light years ahead of these clowns. I am the egg man, I am the egg man, I am the walrus.

  • Hugh Mannity says:

So now Elliot is a white man, he can be like the rest of us and be told to sit down, shut up, and listen.

Welcome to the world of white men, where the main privilege is to be the only class that can be bullied without any objections.

BTW — don’t be disappointed when all that lovely testosterone changes the texture of your skin, makes your hair fall out, and alters your voice. It might be fun when you’re young, but as you age it becomes a lot more difficult.
