Oh man, what a show. Last night, President Donald Trump was a guest on Gutfeld!. He was the essential Trump, without a host/moderator filter, for the full program and went all “Tyrus Smash”. He was mentally fast on his feet, genuine and funny. For those who believe Trump to be a self-absorbed, mouthy, egomaniacal jerk, this had to be quite an eye-opener. It was freaking funny.
Trump was back in New York and, as usual for him, he leveled up. He gets supercharged in his hometown. He had his big rally at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, he handed out burgers and paid with Bitcoin at a Crypto Bar in Greenwich Village, and he was on Gutfeld. That’s what most candidates would do in a week. For him, it was half a day.
The crypto move had the Wall Street Journal waxing fondly about George Washington:
A former president walks into a dive bar and asks, “Who wants a hamburger?” He pulls out an iPhone and pays not with dollars but with bitcoin.
“History in the making,” Donald Trump declared Wednesday after making the transaction at PubKey, a Greenwich Village tavern that is the it spot for crypto enthusiasts—a rising financial and political force that Trump is hoping will help him return to the White House.
The Founding Fathers had Fraunces Tavern, the Manhattan saloon where George Washington closed out a successful war against the Brits. Trump has PubKey.
“PubKey is the drinking hole for the bitcoin revolution. He’s now one of us,” said Mike Germano, president of Bitcoin Magazine. Germano, 42, a former Democrat who plans to vote for Trump in November, had a prime viewing position for the visit.
Ain’t it beautiful?
Naturally the Rally on Long Island was beautiful. He lit that capacity arena up.
Trump closed his rally in New York tonight with the iconic opera piece Nessun Dorma, famously featured in The Sum of All Fears.
The movie’s plot centers around a near-assassination of the U.S. president in a bid to ignite World War III between the U.S. and Russia.

Seventeen thousand inside and 20k at the watch party outside. The last lines of “Nessun Dorma” are “I will win” repeated three times. Donald Trump loves that aria.
Gutfeld! was filmed prior to the rally and I am sure that helped energize Mr. Trump. Nick Arama wrote up the appearance for Red State:
Former President Donald Trump seems to have boundless energy that can’t be squelched, despite all the attacks against him and even in the face of two assassination attempts.
He was in New York, on Long Island, for a rally and he took the time out to visit with a little boy with a brain disorder and give him a birthday present. He also, prior to the rally, went on Greg Gutfeld’s show. It’s hard to imagine, after all that has been happening, how he keeps it all together, but he looked in great shape, very relaxed and he had a lot of fun on the show.
It’s something that Kamala Harris could never do because it requires you to be spontaneous and yourself. Meanwhile, Trump is naturally open and funny. The audience loved it as Gutfeld introduced him, “Let’s crank it up to 11 for President 45 and 47!”
Kamala couldn’t survive it without crumbling because everyone on Gutfeld! is smart and funny and SHE IS NOT. Greg Gutfeld doesn’t suffer fools gladly. Here is the full Donald Trump appearance, not a segment, but the whole show:
More from Red State:
Trump also told a story about the only time he spoke to Tim Walz. He said that Walz was nervous about protesters who were carrying American flags [peacefully] around the governor’s mansion in Minnesota. Funny, he’s more disturbed about that than he seemed about BLM and Antifa folks who burned parts of Minneapolis. But Trump helped him anyway.
Because that is what Trump does. He is generally a really good person, especially for a builder. Tyrus had a championship beltmaker make a champion’s belt for Trump. Tyrus smash:

Trump has earned that belt many times over. Do you remember when Trump sent a birthday letter to young Liam, who has a brain disorder and growth hormone deficiency? Trump did one even better and met Liam before the Long Island rally backstage:
After seeing the reaction online to a birthday letter that he sent eight-year-old Liam, who suffers from a rare brain disorder and growth hormone deficiency, President Trump surprised his VIP backstage with a birthday gift, minutes before taking the stage at the Veterans Memorial… pic.twitter.com/t7feBSRgO2

That’s why Trump is the best, no matter what you are told. That’s why Trump and his policies have earned your vote. That’s why it’s now the Trump Smash.
