Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky has sparked shock, horror and outrage by having Commandos for Christ assassinate the Devil at Vacation Bible School. No, they were not real weapons that the Commandos used. They were more akin to paintball rifles. Not the point and still horrifying to watch. In front of CHILDREN! That’s not Christ-like at all.
The story from the National Enquirer:
A pastor in Kentucky has responded to an onslaught of criticism after a video from a Bible school went viral for depicting a person getting shot to death.
A clip shared to TikTok on Sunday, June 28, shows children at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, watching as adults holding fake guns and dressed in what looked like military attire approach a person on the ground who is repeatedly shot at.
People are heard chanting, “Take him out, and blow him up!”
The person is then dragged out of the room as the people in the audience smile and converse.
Mt Olivet Baptist Church in Lexington, KY expressed its religious freedom by exposing Vacation Bible School children to armed men entering church & shooting a man by the pulpit whose body reacted violently from bullets & kids cheered. He was supposed to represent Satan. Really.🙄 pic.twitter.com/YXIIXYtN0d

My husband and I both attended Vacation Bible School (VBS) through Baptist Churches growing up. It was a weeklong, relaxed event, during the day, with Bible verses, cupcakes, juice and playing with friends.
These days it is much the same, but church groups can purchase theme packages, like Emerald Crossing (Psalm 23, The Lord is my Shepherd), Reigning with a Purpose (1 Peter 4-10, using your gifts) and Rainforest Falls (Psalm 103, Praise the Lord). All of the activities are planned out and guided. None of them involve Commandos gunning down the Devil. Here is more from the National Enquirer and the Pastor of Mt. Olivet:
On Monday, June 29, pastor Dewayne Walker responded to the backlash in a lengthy video message shared to the church’s official Facebook page.
“The misinformation out there is sad,” he began, explaining that “a small part of our vacation Bible school for 32 years” is having “characters every year that represent good and right” as well as ones that “represent evil and wrong.”
“We make church a fun place, a happy place — a place where we hate sin,” he said. “A place where we exalt Jesus, and we hate the devil. I think you’d be in agreement that we shouldn’t love the devil.”
“The clip you saw was simply killing the devil,” he said. “I’ll be honest with you, if I could kill the devil every day and raise him up and kill him again, I’d do it. He’s the one we hate.”
That doesn’t seem a spiritual or righteous way of praising God for all of his blessings. It’s one thing to hate Satan, but I would think that hating and killing the Devil would play into what he desires.
Here is the Pastor and we don’t need context:
While we can all agree that the Devil is pure evil and uses all kinds of lies and stories, this is not the way to combat him.
This Church is led by a sick Pastor. Here is more:
In the comments section of Walker’s video, people were still very upset by what they saw, with one person writing, “WWJD? He certainly would not condone this. Your ‘skit’ perpetuated hate and violence, and what is wrong with the world. SHAME ON YOU!!!!! I FEEL SORRY FOR THOSE POOR CHILDREN!”
However, some of the people who attend Mt. Olivet Baptist came to the church’s defense.
“I been part of mt olivet church over 16 years,” one person wrote. “And i know that this church loves on the broken. I know the intentions of members is this church is helping those who are lost and the broken.”
Help me, Baby Jesus. This is typical ugliness from the Left:
BREAKING: WTF!? Viral video shows a right-wing church in Kentucky staging a mock execution of their enemy while children screech for his blood.
MAGA has taken a very, very dark turn…

They wouldn’t know this is not true and they (The Left) lie and make a lot of assumptions. This is what they want to be true. Yes, the South is a different planet but not the way it is meant here.
What the ever loving fuck is that???? I mean these people are NUTS!
If this is not indoctrination, I don’t know what is… pic.twitter.com/o0gCILne8F— Martina Navratilova (@Martina) June 29, 2026
Only a few churches handle snakes too. The Devil is evil but he will not be defeated by guns and ammo. Love for God and prayers. That is why we put on the Whole Armor of God.

At the very least, this is incredibly tone deaf and a failure to read the room ( the nation) as it obviously feeds into the narrative the left is pushing.. you can see that from.their comments.. that being said, based on the comments of the pastor, ill just say that hes a moron…
That being said, this is yet another example of how we are NOT the same as the left… they embrace their morons.. ( Mamdani, Platter, et al) while we call out and ridicule those that claim to be on the same side as us.
And for the lefties to call out ” indoctrination”.. again, talk about hypocrisy amd projection….
This ain’t DEI, folks. Anyone who is “horrified” by a bunch of Baptists destroying the Prince of Darkness to keep it away from their children is free to not attend that church, not donate to that church, and to report any NGO funneling tax money to that church.
Right now, the main religious book that I am reading just had a chapter about St. Anthony (the Desert Father) and how he was both attacked by demons and how he over came them. (Prayer and fasting).
If the church had wanted to do it accurately, they could have had the children in a prayer circle, praying and the person playing the devil trying to break in and scatter the little ones. As long as they kept praying and their backs to the actor, he would be helpless to break in.
FYI, I left the Baptist church and became Catholic.
I thought it was kinda funny. Got the boys involved and excited. Of course we cannot beat Satan directly, he is of far greaterpower than us, not even the angels at this time fight him directly. Jude 9.
