Democrats Plan To Rescue MS-13 Gang Member

“Here they come to save the day.”

Call them Grift Team Six. If there is a chance for a free plane ride, a Codel and free publicity, members of the U.S. House and Senate are the chiselers you will never need. Double that since they are Democrats. Now, two of the worst members of Grift Team Six are threatening to go to El Salvador to “rescue” an illegal immigrant who resided in Maryland and was deported to El Salvador, his home country. The illegal immigrant’s name is Kilmar Armando Abrega Garcia, also known as Maryland Man, a father of three.

According to Fox News:

Many conservatives on social media were outraged over what they called Democrats’ “pathetic” plan to visit an El Salvadoran prison in protest of the Trump administration’s deportation policies.

Axios reported on Tuesday that Reps. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., and Maxwell Frost, D-Fla., sent a letter to House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., requesting an official congressional delegation (CODEL) to conduct a “welfare check” of deported El Salvadoran and alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

The Supreme Court upheld a lower court’s order last week requiring the government to “facilitate” Abrego Garcia’s release after what the Trump administration admitted was an “administrative error.” However, the White House has defended the deportation based on Abrego Garcia’s alleged ties to MS-13, a designated terrorist organization, and said his release is up to El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele.

Damn skippy, it’s up to Nayib Bukele or as Bukele himself put it, it is “preposterous” to think that Bukele would facilitate kidnap Abrego Garcia to send him back to the United States and they don’t let criminals out on the streets of El Salvador.

Fresh off his 25 hour Senate Floor Psychodrama, Cory Booker is looking to capitalize on his 2% in the 2028 Presidential polls.

“Horrifying?” Sorry, nope. And, Chris Von Hollen needs to make sure that we know that Abrego Garcia is one of his constituents and he loves them all as if they were all his own lovies. According to Roll Call:

Maryland Democratic Sen. Chris Van Hollen has taken a lead role among Democrats opposing the Trump administration’s high-profile mistaken deportation of a migrant to a maximum-security prison in El Salvador, announcing on Tuesday he was flying to the country with the intent to pay the man a visit.

Van Hollen said in a video posted on social media that the goal of his trip is to put a spotlight on the Trump administration’s actions, which critics contend amounts to ignoring an order from the Supreme Court to “facilitate” the return of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia.

“We are going to keep fighting to bring Abrego Garcia home until he returns to his family,” Van Hollen said.

Abrego Garcia’s attorneys argued in court that the El Salvador citizen has never been charged with any crime, lived peacefully in the U.S. for years and raised a family, including three special-needs children.

Van Hollen added he hopes to meet with Abrego Garcia as well as representatives of the El Salvador government, asserting supporters would keep fighting because this is a “miscarriage of justice.” The Maryland Democrat said the Supreme Court had ruled unanimously in favor of Abrego Garcia.

“This is about due process; This is about rule of law,” Van Hollen said. “What bullies do is they begin by picking on the most vulnerable, but if we get rid of due process and rule of law in the United States, it’s a short road from there to tyranny.”

Oh, now! Abrego Garcia is the father of three special needs children. And, yet my heart remains cold and unmoved. Abrego Garcia also has a history of domestic violence.

Prince Charming, he is not. The wife who Abrego Garcia committed domestic violence must have her own reasons, I am sure.

Chris Van Hollen just posted on X that he hopes to meet Abrego Garcia:

Why are the Democrats committing suicide on the hills of these 80/20 and 90/10 articles?

Just yesterday, Victor Martinez Hernandez was found guilty of the murder of the mother of Five! Spare us all the sympathy for the rightfully deported Abrego Garcia. Our hearts have grown cold. Looks like Chris Van Hollen will be coming home empty handed. Our hearts are happy.

UPDATED

Much like Cory Booker’s 25 hour psychodrama, Van Hollen emoted a lot and accomplished nothing but his own embarrassment.

Well-played, El Salvador. Welcome to the big time.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia had a history of violence and was not the upstanding “Maryland Man” the media has portrayed him as.

Dude, I live in Maryland and my brother lives in Florida. We constantly send articles to each other with who is worse. And I despise the fact that one of my Senators is more worried about an illegal alien than he is a citizen. Then again, the Democrats are jealous that Trump has facilitated the return of American citizens from foreign jails and they want to say “WE DID IT TOO!”

  • A reader says:

Why do you insist on lying? He IS NOT a gang member! In fact, and I’ll include references and primary sources where available, all of the following are true:

    1. He is not a gang member: https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815.1.1_3.pdf

In fact, according to the above, he fled El Salvador around 2011 — at the age of 16 — after several years of Barrio 18 gang members having “stalked, hit, and threatened to kidnap and kill him in order to coerce his parents” into paying extortions to the gang in order to protect the family’s pupusa business. The above court documents also state that he is here under protected asylum status.

    2. He is not a criminal: According to these court documents he has never been charged with a crime either here or in El Salvador: https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815.1.0_3.pdf

Seeking asylum doesn’t make one a criminal no matter what you want to believe. Judges have found that he is eligible for asylum so he is here legally. And regardless, all persons in the US, regardless of whether or not they are a citizen, are eligible for due process. Period. It’s in the 5th and 14th Amendments of the Constitution!

    3. He should not have been sent to the prison in n El Salvador. According to these court documents from 2019, the judge pointed out that his request would have been subject to “mandatory denial” if it was proven that he had “participated in the persecution of others, has been convicted of a particularly serious crime, has committed a serious nonpolitical crime outside of the U.S., or is a danger to U.S. national security.”

At the time, DHS presented no evidence that would support such an accusation.

    4. The Trump administration admitted that his deportation to the prison was an “administrative error” in this court filing: https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815.11.3.pdf

    5. And finally, all arguments around “facilitate,” etc are ridiculous since the Supreme Court was merely using the language of the lower court. The Trump administration is openly defying a court order and the highest court by not returning Abrego Garcia to the US. And in fact, the lower court judge overseeing the case today flagged that she’s considering holding them in contempt. No amount of spin changes any of this.

This case matters because Trump himself mentioned possibly sending American citizens to El Salvador. It is also a direct violation of the constitution and EVERYONE in the US’ rights to due process. That’s why it matters. And frankly the fact that you lot keep defending this when one of your own writers had family members detained in a concentration camp on American soil during WWII says an awful lot about your morality. If the government can justify doing this to the Japanese during WWII— pre passports and real “immigration papers” or even naturalized citizenship for that group—, and now for those legally here under protected status, what’s to stop them from doing it to anyone? Citizens have already been detained at border crossings for no reason. It’s only a matter of time.

The fact that any of that needs to be stated and that you are continuing to lie shows that you should really replace all your WWII patriotic imagery on this blog with Nazi imagery because it’s abundantly clear where you would have stood in history. But go ahead and try to pretend otherwise. The implication is clear. And the facts as stated in the above court documents don’t care about your feelings.

Hey genius ( reader that is) this district Court clown is an agenda driven leftist, and way out of his depth. He is trying to subverting the Constitution bybusurping power reserved to the executive. His rulings are as.flawed.as.your arguments. This illegal criminal is a.citizen of El Salvador. He has been returned to his country of origin, accidentally or not, that’s where he is. The President of El Salvador has said he will NOT return him.to the US.. you claim that the Teump Administration is in contempt for not bringing him back. Given the statements from.the Preaident of El Salvador, what would.you suggest President Trump do? Go to war to bring an illegal invader criminal back to the US? You can’t possibly be as stupid as you pretend! You must be such an ideologically driven adherant to your progressive religion that like the Muslims you so revere, you feel that lying openly to ” infidels” is justified.
It’s becoming more.and more clear that, as the joke goes, ” you don’t come.here foe the hunting do you?”

He never did. You’re using bad sources for all of these arguments.

FYI, the “court” that said he shouldn’t be deported to El Salvador was an Article II immigration court. IOW, they work for the President.

    • SFC D says:

You got #3 and #4 right. The rest of your screed is liberal word salad and easily disproven with a 2 minute google search. In plain language, you are a liar. The sainted Mr. Garcia was identified as a gang member 7 years ago, arrested for human trafficking and released by Biden’s FBI. Arrested while in possession of drugs and a large amount of cash while associating with known MS-13 members. Was ordered to be deported 6 years ago. Had temporary status as a refugee that was revocable and was revoked. The only due process required to deport an illegal alien is the fact that they are an illegal alien. No indictment, trail, or conviction is required. Natural born citizens cannot be deported, no matter what the president says. Naturalized citizens can be deported under certain circumstances. And yes, citizens can be detained at border crossings. Everyone is detained at border crossings until you show proof of citizenship. That’s exactly what border checkpoints do. And you do realize which political party created the WWII era Japanese relocation camps? History. Read it. Learn from it.

They should look at prosecuting the congresscritter under the Logan Act.
From a case when the principle was discussed:

[T]he President alone has the power to speak or listen as a representative of the nation. He makes treaties with the advice and consent of the Senate, but he alone negotiates. Into the field of negotiation, the Senate cannot intrude; and Congress itself is powerless to invade it. As Marshall said in his great argument of March 7, 1800, in the House of Representatives, ‘The President is the sole organ of the nation in its external relations, and its sole representative with foreign nations.’

The Congressman went to conduct foreign relations. Hammer him for it.

“Grift Team Six”—I like it. I was sure AOC or Ilhan Omar would’ve joined Van Hollen on his journey to free the thug if nothing else than to show the diversity of the members of Grift Team Six, but I guess Van Hollen wanted to be the one and only “hero;” instead he became a singular fool. When he runs for re-election his opponent will label him as Abrego Garcia Van Hollen and he’ll never shake that moniker.

And someone should tell “A reader” that while Trump told a joke about sending American citizens to El Salvador, the Grift Team Six member actually did it. A cryin’ shame he wasn’t self-deporting himself.
