Congratulations You’re a Racist

Congratulations You’re a Racist

Congratulations You’re a Racist

Do you disagree with Representative Omar? You’re a bigot. Do you think the borders should be protected and laws enforced? Here’s you hood, racist. Do you support a policy that breezed past Trump on a November wind? White Nationalist! If you aren’t labeled as one already, you will be soon!

Your Color Counts ~ Against You

If you disagree with the, often half wit, ramblings of a Congressional media darling…. You are a racist. Er, I mean White Nationalist. Because only a White Nationalist would dare to disagree with a WOC (Woman of Color. I had to look it up too, no worries). Vox broke it down like this,

But there’s something distinctly racial (and gendered) about the aggression directed at Omar, who is black and one of the first Muslim women in Congress. She has been surrounded by controversy and personal attacks since she took office in January — attacks that are explicitly about silencing outspoken women of color.”

No, it’s NOT about her “outspoken” and inflammatory statements. It’s about how YOU are a horrible person, who is intent on silencing her voice.

So disregard this tweet, where the entire basis of bashing Steven Miller is his skin color.

Because only a White Nationalist has tough views on immigration enforcement policies.

Your Color is Bad, But Hers is Insulation

VG Nina has a great post on the dustup between Representatives Crenshaw & Omar. Ms. Omar was caught downplaying the participants of 9/11 as “Some people [who] did something” and as a result Muslims in America were losing their rights. Disregard the absolute fallacy of that statement, and remember the words of then President Bush in a speech he gave at the Islamic Center of DC on Sept, 17.

America counts millions of Muslims amongst our citizens, and Muslims make an incredibly valuable contribution to our country. Muslims are doctors, lawyers, law professors, members of the military, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, moms and dads. And they need to be treated with respect. In our anger and emotion, our fellow Americans must treat each other with respect. Women who cover their heads in this country must feel comfortable going outside their homes. Moms who wear cover must be not intimidated in America.  That’s not the America I know.  That’s not the America I value. Those who feel like they can intimidate our fellow citizens to take out their anger don’t represent the best of America, they represent the worst of humankind, and they should be ashamed of that kind of behavior.”

The post 9/11 mentality of America was one of unity. We pulled together. We acknowledged that horrible people had engaged in terrorism in the name of religion, the tenants of they selectively follow. Nobody was bashing Muslims in America. If anything, they were being defended and embraced. As much victims as everyone else.

But in her history, Ms. Omar will have you believe that she was defiant in the face of American racism and expressed this by donning the headscarf. She wanted to be a visual representation of Islam in every aspect of society. Especially at a time when she says other Muslims were made to feel uncomfortable. That’s not the post 9/11 I remember. There was no outcry against Muslims in America. There was an outcry against terrorist A-holes. But it wasn’t an automatic overlap.

Revisionist history aside, her peers are often complicit in providing her cover for the inappropriate comments. In fact, the congress walked back a reprimand of her Israel comments to a watered down version of “be nice to everyone.” Meanwhile, she gets a pass for accusing someone of racism and instigates personal attacks. In her Tweet about Trump she has to bring up his heritage, as if every person of German decent is a… Nazi. Or is her terminology meant to highlight a love of Brats and Beer? Hmmm. Dog Whistle much?

Ban the Ban

Yesterday Ms.Omar introduced co-sponsered legislation to ban the so called “Muslim Ban.”  Although Trump expanded on it with tighter restrictions, it was based upon a preexisting policy in place under Obama.

In December 2015, President Obama signed into law a measure placing limited restrictions on certain travelers who had visited Iran, Iraq, Sudan, or Syria on or after March 1, 2011. Two months later, the Obama administration added Libya, Somalia, and Yemen to the list, in what it called an effort to address “the growing threat from foreign terrorist fighters.”
The restrictions specifically limited what is known as visa-waiver travel by those who had visited one of the seven countries within the specified time period. People who previously could have entered the United States without a visa were instead required to apply for one if they had traveled to one of the seven countries.”
The bill has little chance of becoming a law. The Constitution outlines the responsibilities of the Executive Branch, and the Executive Order on immigration controls has survived means testing in the SCOTUS. The last thing we need is another law to tie up the courts. Of course, Ms. Omar’s fanbase will be thrilled with her willingness to stand up to White Nationalism and ban the ban! I wonder if Ms. Omar should be reminded of her words following the Michigan State legislative session about FGM,

“What I would like to have been done is to have (the parents) charged with laws that already exist. What I don’t want us to do is to create laws because we want to get in the media.”

That’s good advice. She should take it from herself.

Hillary, Looking Like the Desperate to Stay Relevant Old White Lady She Is

The old guard is working the new media. From the only phone to have survived a hammer blow, comes this pearl of wisdom about International White Nationalism  (Huh…? Is it even possible to export “Nationalism”). Since he whipped (My bad, wrong word!) trounced her in the election of 2016, the media has accused Trump, and his supporters, of White Nationalism or outright racism. I find it no surprise that people who don’t understand American politics (and there are many, both foreign and domestic), associate a red MAGA style hat with their warped sense of White Pride. The mainstream and international media spread this message far and wide. Did Hufpo stop to consider the entire narrative is built upon the false presentation of Trump supporters as bigots, racists, and White Nationalists? It’s more likely their false narrative is the driver behind the association, more than any shared ideology. MAGA hat wearers are not all White Nationalists. In fact, many of them aren’t even White.

But in their own version of  “what came first, the chicken or egg” the media presents itself a nicely wrapped package of Americans exporting their *obvious* White Nationalism. Now if only they can actually define it. Hillary, in a desperate attempt to stay relevant in a field overshadowed by younger players (and two men who make her detest 2016), is sharing this far and wide. At least as much as her low follower count allows. Maybe in 2020 her slogan will be “Since I can’t beat them, I’ll join them in passing a false narrative.”

And, no, a lot of us did not defend islam in America. I have a single question for any muslim in America: do you believe in replacing our gov’t with a theocracy, including the dhimmitude of non-muslims? If the answer to that is “No” then I’m fine with them. But that is NOT the fundamentalist interpretation of islam.

Maybe. But you really don’t want to open that can of worms, do you, Ilhan? Since some have labeled you “bro-fo” for your likely incestuous immigration fraud?

    That’s good advice.
    Nah, it’s posturing.

The white nationalists certainly think MAGA is a white nationalist slogan.
And loads of black people think affirmative action is racism.

Basically, the progs have come out swinging as the racist, power-hungry, decadent, elitist scum that they really are. And they’re really upset anyone is upset about that.

So, by Ms. Omar’s definitions, I am a bigoted, racist, white nationalist. So be it. I do not define myself by her warped definitions. And IIhan, add this to your “definitions” list. I wear Doc Marten workboots. Therefore, I am also a Nazi.

I do so enjoy living rent-free in her head.

  • […] This has been evident for a while, but it is nice to see it spelled out so clearly. Congratulations You’re a Racist. […]

She should kiss the ground she walks on, a free country, free women, and free speech (for some).
