CNN’s Acosta Attacks Trump But Fake News Spins It

Our long National nightmare continues. Did you see the press conference today with President Donald Trump being attacked by most, not all, of the vaunted White House Press Corps. These journalists are supposed to inform the people of the United States of America. Instead these “journalists” attack the duly elected President and our rude to him in every possible way. One of the worst is CNN’s Jim Acosta. Yet, somehow the networks all report it as Trump attacked Acosta. Ladies and Gentlemen, Exhibit A for your video edification:

Now, I saw Jim Acosta talk to President Trump in a most rude and condescending fashion. Following are a few of the headlines regarding the fracas, including CNN’s:

CNN

Trump’s most contentious exchange was with Jim Acosta, CNN’s chief White House correspondent. Afterward, CNN said in a statement, “This President’s ongoing attacks on the press have gone too far. They are not only dangerous, they are disturbingly un-American.”
“While President Trump has made it clear he does not respect a free press, he has a sworn obligation to protect it,” CNN added. “A free press is vital to democracy, and we stand behind Jim Acosta and his fellow journalists everywhere.”

Fox News

President Trump clashed dramatically at Wednesday’s press conference with CNN White House reporter Jim Acosta, after the CNN star peppered Trump with questions and refused to give up the microphone as he asked about the migrant caravan and Russia investigation.

The Independent

The US president ordered the journalist to put down his microphone and “just sit down”.

The row began following a question about the migrant caravan approaching the US, when Mr Trump was asked by CNN’s Jim Acosta if he thought he had “demonised” migrants by calling the group an “invasion”.

Many people laughed, snorted or rolled their eyes when Trump began to talk about fake news. Turn on the television, the radio, stream a podcast or click on an article and day after day we are confronted with people telling us the opposite of what we know to be true. It’s like a scene out of “Night at the Opera” with Chico Marx and Margaret Dumont:

Teasdale: Your Excellency, I thought you left. Chicolini: Oh no. I no leave. Teasdale: But I saw you with my own eyes.
Chicolini: Well, who ya gonna believe me or your own eyes?

Here is what I saw:

From today’s assault by the Washington Press Corps, in the circled area you can see CNN’s Jim Acosta has his hand on the arm of the low paid, female staffer. Screen Grab: CSPAN.

Not only was CNN’s Jim Acosta stunningly rude to the President of the United States, he pushed the poor Communications office low paid, female staffer’s are out of the way. No bueno, chico. Pushing girls around is so low in every fashion.

Peter Alexander was not much better. He should try asking Trump more questions like, “How many kittens have you kicked today?”

April Ryan of American Urban Radio Networks does not know the difference between a press gaggle and a press gaggle where questions are randomly shouted and answered and a press conference where reporters are called on by the President.

But my eyes lied to me. Trump is a big bully pushing around the poor, little, delicate flowers in the media. Most of America believes this because most Americans are not news junkies, like we are. CNN’s Acosta, I must say, is totally loco in the cabeza. We need real news not fake news.

*Update*
As of tonight, the White House has suspended, but not revoked, the White House Press pass of CNN’s Jim Acosta.

  • These people — Acosta and his ilk — are really evil. God Bless Mr. Trump and may he keep resisting them.

A number of typos in the first few paragraphs. The wrong word kind, like IS for IN.

  • Bill G says:

What? You want the media to present the actual, full news stories instead of choosing the parts that support the democrat message? Why, that would be as bad a having schools teach the reality of socialism. If the Scandinavian welfare states were labelled as such, there would be nothing left to point to as socialist/communist but the miserable nations that actually live under those system. And someone would be sure to try and slip in the 100,000,000 dead in the last century of democide. We just cannot have that.

Now the left is claiming that the video is doctored–sped up to accentuate his gesture. It doesn’t matter whether you speed it up or play it frame-by-frame, the guy inappropriately touched her.

…but the left never let facts get in the way of a narrative…

the difference between a press gaggle and a press gaggle
    Huh?

Acosta is an ass, and has received no less than he deserves. If he wants to stand outside and use his CNN microphone, he’s welcome to do that. But he will be outside. If he wants to use the White House microphone, then he has to follow the White House rules. You might go so far as to say “Trump paid for this microphone.”

As to the First Amendment screeching….
This isn’t a First Amendment issue, since 1) it didn’t stop his speech, it just stopped it at that moment in that particular place, 2) it didn’t stop the “press” whatsoever, and 3) the 1st requires “peaceable assembly” – which it wasn’t when he refused to give up the mic, and even less so when he battered the intern (must be a Clinton Democrat!).

(BTW, given Acosta really wasn’t asking a question, but haranguing the president, why not require him to register as a lobbyist?)
