Chelsea Handler hosted the 30th Critics’ Choice Awards—apparently, her third time. If you haven’t heard of her, she’s one of those so-called comedians Hollywood props up as some edgy genius. Usually, I’d ignore her. But she’s taking shots at First Lady Melania Trump. And that’s something I can’t just let slide.
During Handler’s opening monologue at yet another pointless celebrity awards show, she took a cheap shot at Melania Trump, likening the First Lady to a prostitute. The so-called comedian riffed on the biopics nominated that night, thinking it was a joke. But as usual, her humor fell flat.
Instead of being witty or original, Handler relied on tired, mean-spirited insults—because apparently, that’s all she has left in her comedy arsenal
“It was a huge year for biopics,” Handler said during her opening monologue while listing off some notable films. “A Complete Unknown about Bob Dylan, Maria about Maria Callas, and Anora about Melania Trump.”

The former Girls Behaving Badly reality star seems to think she has the moral high ground, standing on stage and taking cheap shots at the First Lady—acting as if she’s some flawless, virtuous figure herself. Or maybe Chelsea knows exactly what she is—a shameless attention-seeker who tears others down to make herself feel better. Instead of self-reflection or accountability, she mocks and degrades, hoping people overlook how far she’s sunk in her life.
Let’s not forget Chelsea has also shown her blatant racism. Remember when she told her ex-boyfriend, 50 Cent, that he couldn’t vote for Donald Trump simply because he’s black?

Melania Trump wasn’t the only one caught in the so-called comedian’s crosshairs—though I use the term “comedian” loosely. Is Chelsea really a comedian, or just a vile mouthpiece for Hollywood? In her usual nasty fashion, Handler also took shots at Cheryl Hines, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s wife, serving up her brainless, no-talent remarks.
It’s a weird flex for Handler, who shot a get-out-the-vote ad topless (except for “I Voted” stickers over her nipples).

No, I don’t think Chelsea Handler should be canceled. She has every right to say what she says. And I have every right to not watch or read any of her crap. The lines have been clearly drawn. Hollywood and its celebrities hate conservatives and our values. I mean, just look at the crap they put out.
Babygirl and Conclave were among the recent films lauded at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
Babygirl stars Nicole Kidman as a married, high-powered CEO who has an affair with a young intern. For some reason, drinking a glass of milk is meant to be erotic. Chelsea Handler even tried to recreate the moment at the awards ceremony, sipping milk while Ralph Fiennes sat beside her, calling her a “good girl.” Cringe.
Ralph Fiennes also stars in Conclave, a political thriller that dives into the secretive process of electing a new pope. The real shocker, though, is the revelation that the Pope is intersex.
When you think Hollywood can’t sink any lower, it somehow manages to outdo itself. And now, with their head cheerleader (Chelsea Handler) finally feeling bold and untouchable, it’s clear there’s no turning back. At this point, they’ve stripped away any chance for redemption.
That place is nothing more than a cesspool of corrupt, immoral individuals driven by evil intentions.
I’ll leave you with something Joan Rivers once said about Chelsea Handler during their feud when Chelsea decided to take shots at the legendary Joan Rivers.
Rivers reportedly called Handler a “drunk” and a “whore” during a radio interview with Howard Stern on Tuesday, after Handler told the radio show host “What the f–k do I care about Joan Rivers?” the day before.
The 78-year-old Rivers took Handler’s question as fighting words and a day later fired back saying Handler “made it on her back, f–king the president [of E!]…we all know how she got there,” according to The New York Post.
Rivers was referencing Handler’s 4-year relationship with Ted Harbert, the former CEO of Comcast Entertainment Group, the parent company of E!, reports the Post.
River’s continued her rant on Stern saying Handler is a “drunk” and warned the comedian, saying “Don’t you come after me you whore.” CBS News
And let’s not forget this little gem: Chelsea once admitted, with a surprising level of confidence, that she thought – well into her forties – that the sun and moon were the same.
It’s hard to believe someone who’s made a career mocking others for their lack of intelligence could be so clueless about something as basic as this. But it’s just another reminder of how, in the world of celebrities, the more they talk, the more they reveal their ignorance.
What a dumbass.

Liz says: Chelsea did write a book entitled “My Horizontal Life” which documented exactly what it sounds like it documented. Pretty sure she spent little of the first 35 or so years of her life vertical (she was inebriated most of the time which she also documented in the “manuscript” so she probably got up to get her booze once in a while).
This was of course more original back before social media and only fans took over.
