Angry Joe, or as Axios terms it, “Old Yeller” is worthy of respect according to Axios. Seriously, that’s the underlying theme of the report they dropped early this morning.
In public, President Biden likes to whisper to make a point. In private, he’s prone to yelling.
Behind closed doors, Biden has such a quick-trigger temper that some aides try to avoid meeting alone with him. Some take a colleague, almost as a shield against a solo blast.
Wait, so you are telling me that his temper is so bad staffers need to have battle buddies with them during meetings? To me that reeks of a hostile work environment!
Oh, but there’s more.
Biden’s temper comes in the form of angry interrogations rather than erratic tantrums.
He’ll grill aides on topics until it’s clear they don’t know the answer to a question — a routine that some see as meticulous and others call “stump the chump” or “stump the dummy.”
Being yelled at by the president has become an internal initiation ceremony in this White House, aides say — if Biden doesn’t yell at you, it could be a sign he doesn’t respect you.
Oh really? The best boss one could have is one that blasts you up one side and down the other? If you aren’t screamed at, you aren’t respected? Wow. That is one helluva spin.
Especially since Axios insists that angry “Old Yeller” Joe has kept his temper hidden from us peons for years. Which is laughable because we can count multiple occasions where his temper was on full display. Including that atrocious Independence Hall speech last year.
What’s interesting is that this piece dropped at the same time an opinion piece dropped at The Hill stating Joe should drop out of the race …IMMEDIATELY.
As stated in this space in the past, I don’t believe Biden will be the Democratic nominee in 2024. Now, while the president, his White House and his allies may predictably denounce such speculation as ridiculous or wishful thinking, what if I and others turn out to be correct?
That possibility raises a critically important question: When would be the optimal time for President Biden to announce he’s dropping out of the race to give the Democratic Party the best chance to retain the White House?
A very strong case can be made for: immediately. If the Democratic National Committee is going to open up the primary to other candidates, the sooner the better.
Obviously that opens the door to word salad Kamala as the supposed front runner. However, even HER work environment is so bad she bleeds staffers nearly every month. Furthermore, her polling among Democrats is dismal.
That said, back to Axios trying to convince us that an angry Joe is worthy of our respect. But he’s not. His anger, and his inability to keep his mouth shut at times is a detriment, not something to be applauded. Yet CNN sure tried to do so yesterday.

This is the same interview in which Joe blurted out to the world that OUR ammunition resources are running critically low, thus the decision on sending cluster bombs to Ukraine was made.
Yet we are supposed to genuflect in admiration of Angry Joe? I. Don’t. Think. So.
.@Axios really does try spinning this as positive: pic.twitter.com/z6iApSyNj9

No matter how they try to spin this, Joe has always had anger issues. It’s been reported on in detail for decades. However, in the last few years it’s been a mad scramble by the media to put metric tons of lipstick on a pig.
Now, it seems, the shine is wearing off. Hence the plethora of interesting media reports that engage in some serious fence straddling. Which includes trying to convince themselves and us that an angry Joe is worthy of our respect.
No, no he is not. And his anger is just ONE of the many many issues that he and his handlers have created that have made this Republic a laughingstock around the world.
