On Tuesday at President Trump’s Joint Address to Congress, Houston, Texas Representative Al Green waved his cane and shouted, playing the “Old Man Yelling at President”. After the House Sergeant of Arms had Green removed, he went to the first broadcast camera and declared, “I’ll accept my punishment. It was worth it.” Today was his censure and the entire Democrat House caucus showed the depths of their degradation.

Al Green is a seventy-seven year old highchair tyrant. On Tuesday, he was not content to hold an Auction Bidding Paddle and suck on a lemon. No, he made a scene. Speaker Mike Johnson issued several warnings:

“Members are directed to uphold and maintain decorum in the House and to cease any further disruptions. That’s your warning. Members are engaging in willful and continuing breach of decorum. And the Chair is prepared to direct the Sergeant at arms to restore order to the joint session. Take your seat.”

“Finally, the members continue to engage in willful and concerted disruption of proper decorum. The chair now directs the Sergeant at Arms to restore order. Remove this gentleman from the chamber”

After he was removed, President Trump had Secret Service Director Sean Curran make cancer survivor, DJ Daniel, an honorary Secret Service Agent. Too bad that Green couldn’t behave long enough to see DJ lauded. The hug between DJ and Curran was a solid moment. Green might have gotten some good press for himself. Really, really too bad.

Today was pay the price day. From NBC News:

The Republican-controlled House on Thursday voted to censure Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, for disrupting President Donald Trump’s address to Congress on Tuesday.

The vote was 224-198, with 10 Democrats joining all Republicans in approving the censure resolution. Green and freshman Rep. Shomari Figures, D-Ala., voted present. As the vote proceeded, Green sat by himself along the center aisle.

After the vote, as the resolution required of him, Green stood in the well of the House chamber while Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., read the censure resolution to him.

Oh, but the Children of the Left couldn’t let this go without a proper tantrum:

As Speaker Johnson read the outcome of the censure vote and tried to read the censure, those spoiled, angry children showed the depths of their degradation. They sang “We Shall Overcome”. Because nothing screams civil rights and oppression like popularly elected representatives of the people’s will refusing to follow the rules of the office you represent.

Ten Democrats voted TO CENSURE Al Green. After the Spiritual Sing-along, came the shouting:

The Texas Democrat was immediately called to the well for a public reading of the resolution by Speaker Mike Johnson. Green and other Democrats surrounding him there began singing the civil rights anthem “We Shall Overcome,” which prompted the Republican side to yell “order.”

A screaming match between House Democrats and Republicans broke out. At one point, Democratic Rep. Ayanna Pressley yelled back, “Shame on you!” Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib also shouted at Republicans.

If you watch the video, none of the singing members paid a bit of attention to Johnson and kept singing so that he couldn’t read the censure. It might have been a good time for Johnson to remind them:

Censure them all and stop the degradation. Normies did not celebrate January 6 and this is just as disrespectful.
