In typical liberal (and pro-abortion) fashion, Obama has chimed in on abortion to say that male politicians shouldn’t weigh in on abortion. Why is it typical liberal fashion? Because liberals don’t like debate. They don’t like allowing the opposing side to have a voice. So what do they advocate for? The restriction of free speech. In this instance, it’s male politicians. Because they’re men, presumably, they shouldn’t be allowed to express an opinion on abortion.
Obama said the string of maligned abortion comments from Republicans was a sign they should remove themselves from the conversation.
“This is exactly why you don’t want a bunch of politicians, mostly male, making decisions about women’s health care decisions,” Obama said. “Women are capable of making these decisions in consultation with their partners, with their doctors, and for politicians to want to intrude in this stuff often times without any information is a huge problem.”
Gee, that’s funny. I seem to recall Obama — a male politician — weighing in on abortion in the past. Let’s see… there was his pro-infanticide vote. That’s one notable example. So I guess what he really meant to say was, male politicians can weigh in on abortion, but only if they’re on the “right” side of the issue. Otherwise, keep your mouths shut!
It’s a familiar attitude, of course. Pro-life women have to deal with it all the time. Pro-life = anti-woman, and all.
Also, if men aren’t allowed to make decisions on abortion, then why should they be forced to pay child support for children they don’t want? I mean, think about it. Men can’t have a voice on abortion, and they can’t have a choice on whether they want children or not. How is that right?
There’s also the interesting fact that Obama’s health care bill makes all kinds of health care decisions for people, including women. Obama’s also never owned a business, managed a business, or heck, done any kind of actual work outside of politics in his entire life. But he doesn’t have a problem chiming in on how business owners can operate, does he?
But then, didn’t he say all of this was above his pay grade anyway?
So it follows then that ALL 15 on that panel that will oversee Obamacare will be women? Yes? He is a hypocrite – plain and simple.
In that case, female politicians shouldn’t make decisions on the male birth control pill. HIS body, HIS sperm, HIS choice.
