Every election, Democrats institute a set of rules defining political etiquette, the only problem is that they never follow them. Like bullies on a playground, they demand the opposition cease and desist of all tactics that they fully intend to use themselves.
In 2011, a Daily Kos writer pondered the thought, “Is the Walker-Hitler comparison justified?”
The effect of Nazi labor policies? Well, it actually looks a little like what’s happened in the US since the GOP began dismantling the New Deal under Reagan — except that the Republicans have actually done a better job redistributing income to the top!
On July 1st, amid hints of a possible Walker candidacy, we find that a University of Wisconsin professor says Hitler and Walker share “terrifying” similarities. She’s recently been attacking Scott Walker for ending tenure protection as well. After reading her Twitter timeline, I’m assuming that tenure protection would indeed be a great asset for those who wish to speak such nonsense while still holding a job in a professional teaching environment.
My grandfather, a psychologist, just walked me through similarities between Walker and Hitler. There are so many- it's terrifying.

When Scott Walker first proposed the idea of rolling back collective-bargaining rights, Democrat Senator Lena Taylor compared Hitler’s abolishment of unions to that of Walker.
In 1933, [Hitler] abolished unions, and that’s what our governor is doing today..
However, without going down a rabbit trail, years later we now see that the acts of Scott Walker have garnered a positive result in the state as a whole. Point being, Unions had become the Frank Nitti of the labor force in Wisconsin, Walker was attacking a thug mentality and reinstituting individual choice and responsibility; Hitler was attacking the workers themselves. This fact doesn’t stop the left from vitriolic tactics, as we see here:
Yet, when comparisons are drawn between Democrat politicians – and their actions – to those of Hitler, the rhetoric changes. Suddenly it becomes a vitriolic attack on the victims of the Nazi regime, just ask the liberal commentators over at Media Matters.
For years, the Anti-Defamation League has been grappling with the mainstreaming of Hitler rhetoric by American conservatives. Last year the ADL again tried to raise a red flag, declaring, “The six million Jewish victims and millions of other victims of Hitler deserve better. Their deaths should not be used for political points or sloganeering. This type of comparison diminishes and trivializes the Holocaust.”
The conservative media and the Republican Party aren’t listening.
You might recall the news surrounding Bishop Daniel Jenky, who in 2012 made comments concerning the historical comparisons between Hitler and Obama. 23 Thousand Democrats signed a petition demanding he publicly denounce his previous comments or resign from Notre Dame University.
The Anti-Defamation League is also demanding Jenky rescind comments they call both historically inaccurate and “outrageous, offensive and completely over the top.”
We find time and time again that Democrats appreciate Hitler comparisons when attacking George Bush, Scott Walker, etc. but quickly turn around and use Hitler to further their agenda. It’s similar to the gun control debate; if you bring up the fact that the vast majority of mass shootings happen in locations where guns are prohibited, it’s politicizing a tragedy. However, if they dance on the graves of the dead on behalf of gun control, usually before the bodies are even in said graves, it’s completely acceptable. In their world, they make the rules. Fortunately, attacking Scott Walker with such inaccurate comparisons has worked in his favor – just ask Wisconsin. Keep it coming, Democrats, these ridiculously defective comparisons only serve as fuel to the narrative smashing machine named Scott Walker.
Well, if this guy is being compared to Hitler by the usual suspects then he’s OK by me because it surely means he’s sticking his thumb in their eye and is anything but Hitler. Let them shriek-it’ll only boost his candidacy.
What Ms Lena Taylor fails to understand is that Hitler replaced those unions with his own unions. The SS was one of them, the Nazi Propaganda Ministry was another…
The hypocrisy of the left continues to baffle and amaze me. I swear it is its own special style of tinfoil that breeds.
A whole book could be written just on the hypocrisy of The Destroyers (my new term for the Left as it’s more accurate)-problem is it would impossible to tote it around for sheer size.
Don’t think that Walker is comparable to Hitler…..but, OBovineScat is definitely closely related to Marx!!
