Trump Gives Update On Strikes As Allies Coalesce Against Iran

President Trump went before the cameras on Sunday evening to address the current situation in Iran. However, before he did that, America’s allies – both in the region, and our traditional allies – made some decisions on where they stand.

Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the UK and wet noodle in a suit, announced that the previous announcement that announced that the United Kingdom would not be helping out the United States by allowing the use of British bases was now being recinded, and Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia.

Keir Starmer is reversing his decision to bar the U.S. from using U.K. bases, saying in a social media post late Sunday that he will allow U.S. “defensive” missions aimed at destroying Iranian missile capabilities.

“The only way to stop the threat is to destroy the missiles at source, in their storage depots or the launchers which are used to fire the missiles,” Starmer said, after a day of escalating threats against British military, civilian and commercial interests in the Middle East.

“The US has requested permission to use British bases for that specific and limited defensive purpose,” he added. “We have taken the decision to accept this request.”

Other countries in the Middle East, however, were really angry at Iran. Multiple nations – Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman among others – were hit by Iranian missiles as the Islamic Regime attempted to strike back. Saudi Arabia was plenty pissed off. Whoever is still in charge in Iran, they are quite busy burning all their bridges with their neighbors. It’s little wonder that these countries decided to align directly with the United States (and indirectly with Israel) in this moment.

However, the news broke this morning that three American servicemembers had been killed, and others wounded. While names have not been released, it appears that these fatalities occurred in Kuwait via a drone strike. President Trump gave an update on the airstrikes in Iran on Sunday evening, and also honored those who were killed.

“As one nation, we grieve for the true American patriots who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation,” Trump said in a video statement posted on Truth Social.

“Even as we continue the righteous mission for which they gave their lives, we pray for the full recovery of the wounded and send our immense love and eternal gratitude to the families of the fallen.”

The president struck a somber note, warning that “sadly, there will likely be more before it ends.”

“America will avenge their deaths and deliver the most punishing blow to the terrorists who have waged war,” Trump said. “Our resolve and likewise that of Israel has never been stronger.”

Trump’s remarks, his first public statement since the U.S.-Israel strikes that led to the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several senior Iranian officials, signaled a potentially prolonged confrontation.

“This wretched and vile man had the blood of hundreds and even thousands of Americans on his hands and was responsible for the slaughter of countless thousands of innocent people all across many countries,” Trump said.

He said U.S. forces had struck “hundreds of targets” inside Iran, including key Revolutionary Guard facilities, air defense systems and naval assets. Trump said the U.S. “knocked out nine Iranian ships “in a matter of literally minutes.” Military operations, he added, would continue “until all of our objectives are achieved.”

He went on to issue a direct warning to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and military leadership, urging them to surrender in exchange for immunity or face “certain death.”

It seems like the remaining Iranian leadership is opting for “certain death.”

Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani on Sunday accused U.S. President Donald Trump of turning his “America First” slogan into “Israel First” and affirmed that Tehran will not negotiate with the U.S. government.

“Trump plunged the region into chaos with his ‘delusional fantasies’ and now fears more American troop casualties. With his delusional actions, he turned his self-made ‘America First’ slogan into ‘Israel First’ and sacrificed American soldiers for Israel’s power-hungry ambitions,” Larijani wrote on X after the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran over the weekend, triggering a wider conflict in the Middle East.

“And with new fabrications, it is once again imposing the cost of assassinating its own character on American soldiers and families,” he continued. “Today, the Iranian nation is defending itself. The armed forces of Iran did not initiate the aggression.”

He also wrote in another post that Iran “will not negotiate with the United States.”

And just because they have nothing left to lose, Iranian proxy terror group Hezbollah (what remains of it) decided that they would strike at Israel from Lebanon.

Rockets and drones launched from Lebanon set sirens blaring across northern Israel in the early hours of Monday, as the Hezbollah terror group entered the fray to assist its backer, Iran, with its relentless attacks against the Jewish state.

The terror group’s attacks — which it said were in retaliation for the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the opening minutes of the joint Israeli-US assault on Iran on Saturday — were met with immediate fury from Israel, and waves of airstrikes across Lebanon, including in the capital, Beirut.

Sirens were activated in the northern city of Haifa and surrounding areas shortly after 1 a.m., and the Israel Defense Forces confirmed not long after that the source of the rocket fire that set off the alarms was not Iran, but Lebanon.

The military said that one rocket was intercepted by air defenses, and at least two others were allowed to fall in open areas.

Israel is quite ready to settle all family business.

When will this all end? It stops when Iran and its proxies are so crippled that they can no longer fight back. The bombing campaign is now deliberately targeting IRGC locations, but President Trump estimated that the airstrikes would last about a month.

Trump also revealed a potential timeline for the war with Iran – suggesting fighting could go on for the next four weeks.

‘It’s always been a four-week process. We figured it will be four weeks or so. It’s always been about a four-week process so – as strong as it is, it’s a big country, it’ll take four weeks – or less,’ the president explained.

He said he hasn’t been surprised by any of the outcomes of the strikes thus far.

War always contains surprises, so that most definitely won’t last. Let us hope and pray that all the surprises turn out to be in our favor. And pray for those in our armed forces who have been killed, and their families.
