Liberals, at any point in time, will do all they can to erase and blaspheme a Christian holiday. So, it’s no surprise to us, that they want to make the nativity scene and Christmas all about them.

In fact, “churches” in Colorado and Washington State (I know, you’re shocked), are hosting drag-themed nativity events this holiday season. Foothills Unitarian Church in Fort Collins, CO, claims “love unites us all”. Alongside their “Tiny Christmas” event for kids 5 and under, their holiday craft nights, their chili and caroling supper, they also hosted an event this weekend entitled “A Drag Christmas Spectacular”. You guessed it. The nativity story…but in DRAG.

Get ready for the ultimate festive extravaganza with ‘A Drag Christmas Spectacular,’ where magical Queers will slay their way to Bethlehem. But this year, they are not alone!

Dive into the ultimate holiday celebration of queer joy, courage, and unapologetic pride with A Drag Christmas Spectacular! Fast becoming an annual tradition – this year’s performance promises even more humor, heart, and glitter!

Showcasing Colorado’s top drag and queer talent in a 90+ minute whirlwind of theater, drag, and a reimagined Christmas story that only the boldest could dream up.”-adragchristmas.com

SLAYING their way to Bethlehem in all that glitters! Faaaaaabulous. The production was written and directed by Krisa Gonna, AKA, “The Brazilian Goddess”, who stars in the show.

Gonna’s production reimagines the pilgrimage to Bethlehem and the Child (THE CHILD) born in a manger who lived on this earth to save us all! A review from Out Front Magazine:

Krisa ended the show with a powerful statement: ‘Every child, born into this radiant universe, deserves to be welcomed with a love unbounded, a care unconditional, and a commitment to their freedom to be their truest, realist, rawest, most un-contained selves. This is a call to celebrate, not suppress. To embrace the vibrant rainbow spectrum of their identities, their desires, their loves. Shattering rigid norms to embrace a rebellion of self-expression, built on bedrock of boundless and unapologetic love. For those, young or old, who have been denied this freedom and still battle for self-acceptance and love, we must be stars for each other, sentinels of community, commitment, care, and joy. Committed to guiding each other home. And leaving no one behind.'”-A Drag Christmas Spectacular

Radient beams from thy holy face, with the dawn of redeeming grace. From visitftcollins.com:

A Drag Christmas Spectacular is a glitter-drenched, gospel-defiant retelling of the Christmas story—queer, irreverent, and full of heart. Now in its third year, this original show blends drag, live storytelling, and theater to celebrate LGBTQIA+ joy during a season that often excludes us. With three performances Dec. 19–20, it centers Trans, Nonbinary, and BIPOC artists and gathers 1,000+ attendees in a fierce, fabulous communion of chosen family.”

Fierce. Stunning and brave.

Seattle also hopped on the bandwagon of lunacy. They decided to take another approach and reimagine A Christmas Carol with The Yassification of Ebenezer Scrooge.

The audience follows Ebenezer Scrooge as he is guided by three drag queen spirits on a transformative journey. Together, they help him release shame and anger, embrace his true self, and rediscover the joy of community.

Featuring dazzling performances by Bobbi Jo Blessings, Brandi Marx, Kara Sutra, Jezebel Johnson, and Sid Seedy, this spiritually inclusive, family-friendly event also includes a reflective meditation and a holiday gift drive benefiting Lambert House and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Please join us in joy, celebration, queer art, and be inspired to find the light within and spread healing throughout our communities. Don’t miss this transformative experience!”-Emmaus Table at 7400 Woodlawn

Reimagined. Proceeds donated to Seattle Children’s. My guess is those proceeds go directly to the mutilation-err-gender clinic.

Our Darleen highlighted several other “churches” both here and across the globe that have taken the true Christmas story and have added their own narratives to it. Jesus was reimagined as a girl, Jesus had two moms, Jesus was a brown-skinned illegal immigrant/refugee in zip ties. The Holy Family had to flee Egypt! This makes them just like the Palestinians!

As I look upon my old nativity scene from the 50s, that once belonged to my grandmother, a devout, Catholic woman, I think about the simplicity of a baby, in a manger, wrapped in swaddling clothes, who was sent to save US. A baby, who grew up to be a man, who DIED for US to be the idiots that we are on a daily basis. Want to talk about unbounded love and unapologetic love? Let’s discuss, liberals. Some of the very same people who attend these blasphemous depictions of our nativity are the very same people who will unfriend you on Facebook for quoting the Bible. They are the very same people who don’t want their family members who voted for Trump at the Christmas dinner table. So much for their commitment to free thought and radical self-expression.

The left continues to drag Christmas because they have to make everything about them. Now, I wasn’t there thousands of years ago, but I’m willing to wager that there was no glitz and glamor in Jesus’ nativity in that little town of Bethlehem. This is a man, The King, who rode into town on a freaking DONKEY. It was NEVER about Him during His life on Earth, but this season, as most of us celebrate it, should be ALL about HIM. To be abused all the way up a mountain and carry your own cross to your own execution took the utmost of COURAGE. Putting on size 14 stiletto heels and tucking in your junk to don a sequined dress to “slay in all that glitters” does not even compare to the level of courage Our Savior demonstrated for us.

Whatever the woke touches, it kills. We know this. But this “reimagining” of Christmas is about something so much more than that. It’s an illustration of how self-centered and egotistical, we as mortal humans on this spinning Earth, in this UNIVERSE, have become. God help shine a light on us all.

To embrace the vibrant rainbow spectrum of their identities-

OK, groomer. Now climb into the wood chipper.

Technically, Jesus was highly unlikely to have been “born in a manger”, unless Mary was into some interesting birthing techniques. A “manger” is basically a feed-box for animals. (“Manger” is derived from a French word for “eating”).

After birth, He may well have been swaddled (against the serious chill in the air) and laid on some straw in a small “manger”. Probably a good thing for lyricists that the French-derived word was adopted. A “rough” German equivalent would contain a LOT more than two syllables. (“Tierfutterstation” or something?)

And nobody wants to talk about the concurrent “massacre of the innocents” as ordered by the Roman-approved King Herod. Or the reason why JM&J fled to Egypt as soon as possible after the birth. Nowhere else to hide? Probably.

I believe that the Bible says that he was wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger, implying that the birth took place before the manger came into the picture.

I’ll take these clowns more seriously when they do a drag edition of Mohammed’s hegira from Mecca to Medina. Of course they’ll all be dead, but that would truly be stunning and brave. The only reason why they do this crap with Christian beliefs is that they know there will be no consequences.
