Sound the alarm! Gird your loins, start stocking up on food, and chopping wood! According to the “experts” the Gulf Stream is near collapse and we are about to enter the Ice Age. Again. 

A key Atlantic current could be pushed to the brink of collapse within decades, supposedly ushering in a new ice age and dramatically raising sea levels, climate scientists have claimed in a controversial new study published in the journal Communications Earth & Environment.

The apocalyptic predictions came as a result of a collaboration between researchers at the Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOCAS) and the University of California, San Diego — weeks after one-time climate alarmist Bill Gates publicly downplayed the impact of temperature fluctuations on the planet.

Golly gee, where have we heard that before? Look at the sources of this information. How credible do you think this information really is given China has NEVER bought into the climate scam and has been building coal-fired plants everywhere they can plant one?

Not only that, but we were warned about the impending Ice Age in the 1970’s. 

And then good ole Al ‘I invented the internet’ Gore chimed in with all his doom and gloom. The climate scam certainly pays well doesn’t it? It pays so well that we have multiple cities and school districts on the hook for electric vehicles and buses that are now officially bricks. Beege over at Hot Air has one of the latest breakdowns of that particular debacle. 

The Maryland Climate Solutions Now Act of 2022, which required that all new school bus purchases be electric by 2025, further supported MCPS’s move towards sustainability. The plan promised not only better outcomes for students and the planet but also significant savings in operational costs over time.

Even when the buses did arrive, they didn’t always work. Over the span of two years, electric school buses broke down mid-route more than 280 times. The repairs of these buses took far longer than the five-day window outlined in the contract, averaging 13 days per bus. Although the contract allowed for penalties, MCPS did not enforce them, missing out on more than 372,000 dollars in potential fees.

All in the name of climate change. Then again, the electric buses not only kept failing, they failed BIGLY in the winter. Last I checked, winter is the mild equivalent of an Ice Age.

But now that the alarm bells are really truly ringing with the impending new Ice Age, those electric buses will be even more worthless. Which, I guess is a plus? 

You see, there’s some sort of hot pocket warm spot in the Gulf Stream that is the problem. How did they figure that out? 

The researchers reportedly happened upon this warm spot by using the Massachusetts Institute of Technology General Circulation Model (MITgcm) — a computer model that simulates the ocean, atmosphere and climate — to monitor how “AMOC-related signals” like energy waves ripple rapidly toward the equator.

When they hit home, they multiply along the equatorial region, effectively creating this oceanic hotspot.

The AMOC slowdown prompts subsurface warming in the subpolar North Atlantic — the region between the subtropics to the south and the Nordic Seas to the north — generating energy waves that travel along the Western North Atlantic toward the equator.

They used a COMPUTER MODEL to arrive at their new Ice Age alarm fire. 

Over the years, I’ve been told the following eco-disasters would destroy earth (in order): New Ice Age, Acid Rain, Ozone Hole, Global Warming, Global Weirding, Climate Change, New Ice Age. The solution for each was to give the UN more power, end capitalism, and expand government.

Yeah, that hole in the ozone certainly did a number on us, didn’t it?

What’s also interesting is that many of the countries sounding the alarm about this impending new Ice Age are countries that have fully adopted the climate change green policies of wind and solar, and already paying the price for it. 

Britain said it was following scientific reports that suggested an abrupt collapse was unlikely during this century, while directing more than 81 million pounds into research to understand when the Earth’s climate systems might be pushed to a point of no return.

“The science is evolving quite rapidly and time is running out to do anything about it because the tipping point may well be quite close,” said oceanographer and climatologist Stefan Rahmstorf from Germany’s Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research.

Guess what? Wind and solar will…NOT keep the heat or electricity flowing during an Ice Age. Texas found that out the hard way a couple of years a go. Gas does and will. So does wood. Electric? Maybe.
