There are no excuses left. Everyone knows exactly what Hamas is and what they stand for. Barnard College, however, after one moment of sanity, is now determined to coddle and practice “gentle parenting” on their darling masked keffiyeh-wearing terrorist wannabes.
On the very day that Yarden Bibas buried his wife and sons, and monuments around the world were lit up orange in their honor, those who make common cause with the Bibas family’s murderers decided that THAT NIGHT, last night, would be the PERFECT time to storm a building at Barnard College to protest the expulsion of two of their fellow Hamas-lovers, and do their usual song and dance about “freeing Palestine.”
How did two Barnard students get themselves expelled? By taking over a class at Columbia University about Israeli history. Barnard College, historically a women’s college, is an affiliate undergrad campus of Columbia University, though the two schools manage themselves separately, even though the campuses are adjacent to each other. These students decided to invade a class they weren’t registered to attend and show their anti-Semitic asses to one and all, and were first suspended, and then two of them were expelled. The expulsions were first reported this last Monday.
The students, who haven’t been publicly identified, had already been slapped with suspensions in the wake of the Jan. 21 caught-on-camera saga that erupted when keffiyeh-clad agitators barged into the “History of Modern Israel” class on the first day of the semester at the Ivy League campus.
They were officially thrown out on Friday following a probe, according to Columbia’s Apartheid Divest — a student-led anti-Israel group.
“When rules are broken, when there is no remorse, no reflection, and no willingness to change, we must act,” Barnard College president Laura Rosenbury told The Post in a statement, noting she couldn’t comment directly on a student’s disciplinary record, citing federal law.
“Expulsion is always an extraordinary measure, but so too is our commitment to respect, inclusion, and the integrity of the academic experience.
“At Barnard, we always fiercely defend our values. At Barnard, we always reject harassment and discrimination in all forms. And at Barnard, we always do what is right, not what is easy,” Rosenbury added.
The action comes weeks after the group of rowdy rabble-rousers were filmed entering the classroom and distributing pamphlets to students, including one depicting a boot stamping on a Star of David and another with the Israeli flag on fire and the words “Burn Zionism to the ground.”
Footage of the commotion showed some students begging the protesters to get out as one peeved pupil crumpled up a flyer and defiantly declared, “We don’t want your s–t.”
“Take off your mask,” one peer could be heard urging the agitators. “Why don’t you take off your mask?”
Well, their fellow Hamas LARPers decided it was time to repeat the protests of last spring, in order to get these students un-expelled. It was time to interrupt classes at Barnard, and occupy a building in order to bend the administration to accept their demands, committing an assault in the process.
One of the X posts made by the group — which proclaims “long live the student intifada” in its bio — includes a list of demands, among them a reversal of the expulsions, amnesty for students punished during last year’s anti-Israel campus protests and a public meeting with Dean Leslie Grinage and Barnard President Laura Rosenbury.
The group’s demands also include “abolition of the corrupt Barnard disciplinary process and complete transparency for current, past, and future disciplinary proceedings.”
The pro-Hamas student group claimed in a follow-up post that Barnard public safety has “harassed and shoved” several students, and knocked at least one to the ground. “Who are they really protecting?” the manic social media post read in all-caps.
But a Barnard spokesperson said the protesters “physically assaulted” a college employee, sending them to the hospital.
“They encouraged others to enter campus without identification, showing blatant disregard for the safety of our community,” Robin Levine, Barnard College’s Vice President for Strategic Communications, said in a statement.
Protestors graffitied political messages — such as, “Free Palestine,” “Barnard expels students,” and “F–k Barnard” — on the walls of Milbank Hall and vowed to continue their sit-in until administrators entered into “good-faith and substantive negotiations,” the Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine posted on X Wednesday night.
Other video shows a large gang of students thuggishly shoving their way into the historic academic building, pushing past security guards as they shouted “free Palestine.”
Another video shows a Jewish student wearing a yarmulke allegedly trying to get into the building for class and pleading with a person who appears to be a security guard.
“You’re catering to them. You gotta get them out. We all have to go to class,” the student says.

So, if we’re chalking up the offenses, we have assault, property damage, and preventing people from attending classes that they have paid for (robbery). Pretty clear-cut offenses, wouldn’t you say? So, what did Barnard College president Laura Rosenbury, who said “at Barnard, we always do what is right, not what is easy” about these protests and property damage and assault and “the integrity of the academic experience”?
Well, she wasn’t there. She was apparently in Florida, which means other staff members had to deal with the protesters. And so, the “gentle parenting” began. Remember, President Rosenbury COULD HAVE just ordered them all arrested. But she didn’t. And it’s clear that none of the faculty had the balls to call in the NYPD either. First, they tried negotiating.
The poor Chair of Barnard's Classics Department, Kristina Milnor, had to meet with the Barnard's Occupation due to being the closest staff member to this sit-in.
She communicated the expectations that Barnard President Rosenbury had if she were to meet with the protesters.

All this achieved was a power trip when the occupying protesters were bragging about not letting the dean use her own bathroom during the negotiations. Then the staff set a deadline of 9:30 pm Eastern Time for everyone to leave. When the protesters blew past that deadline, they tried pleading again.
An employee was assaulted. Classes were disrupted and cancelled. Students couldn’t enter the building. The dean had to ask to go to the bathroom.
The admin doesn’t know if everyone involved in the sit-in is a member of the Barnard community.
And they’re still negotiating. https://t.co/HYw5Pl1MzI

They were trying to placate these terror LARPers like they were little kids, telling them that they wouldn’t get in trouble, even though they had broken all the rules and stayed up past bedtime, if they would just go to bed now, and we won’t tell Mommy that you were naughty! The faculty REALLY did not want the optics of having to call the NYPD in to deal with these assholes, even though the police were outside and available.
Apparently, once these lovers of baby killers were assured that there would be NO DISCIPLINARY ACTION, they took a vote and left the building that they had just trashed, with the promise that negotiations over their demands would happen tomorrow afternoon. They then did a march with all the usual disgusting slogans.
🚨Update from @BarnardCollege protest: they marched out the back exit and are now in Riverside Park demanding amnesty for themselves.
I am PRAYING that they checked ID’s and that these protesters did not just march away from all accountability. pic.twitter.com/Q9EJ8vxa4n

What did the protesters learn? That they can break all the rules, bend the administration to their will, and unless President Rosenbury finds the spine that she had when expelling the two other students, she is about to lose face in a big way. “Gentle parenting” these losers was a huge failure.
Perhaps President Rosenbury will lose even more, as our friend Beege Welborn pointed out at Hot Air – there is a bill in Congress right now that could increase the excise tax rates on college endowments from a mere 1.4% to 21%, which is the corporate tax rate. I have said before that academia needs to be starved financially in order to deal with the massive anti-Semitism that has consumed it. This feels like a start, as would encouraging Jewish students and staff at Columbia and Barnard to file civil rights complaints. I cannot wait for Harmeet Dhillon to get these on her desk at the DOJ once she is confirmed.
Take a good long look, everyone. Anyone dressing up like this, demanding “Free Gaza” and chanting inane slogans on a college campus like Barnard or Columbia, does not care about two redheaded babies who were brutally slaughtered while being held hostage. In fact, they are siding with Ariel and Kfir and Shiri’s murderers. If you ask them, they would likely try and counter with any number of children in Gaza who have been killed during this war. But who started the war? There was a ceasefire in place on October 6th, and Hamas broke it. Everything that has happened is on Hamas. And if these little terrorist copycats were really proud of marching on the side of the murderers, then they would be showing their faces. The fact that most of them don’t, tells us everything we need to know about their moral depravity.
Get a spine and quickly, Barnard College, or be prepared to learn the hard way that things have changed at the federal level.

Not that college admins will do the right thing, but the solution to this shit is VERY simple. Arrest EVERY person involved. If theybare a student, expel them. If they are a foreign student, notify ICE so their student visa can be revoked. Do this EVERY time.the pull this crap.
Only when and If FAFO becomes an immediate and consistent reality will these thugs change their ways, because just like the terrorists they support, they are cowards at heart.
The students, who haven’t been publicly identified
Found the problem.
Good point. Add public disclosure and shaming to my list above.
Just imagine if pro-life protestors tried this. Expelled and criminal trespass charges by that afternoon.
Too much of academia is addicted to foreign students paying full freight.
Except that the admins & faculty of Columbia and Barnard are unprincipled and gutless!
