Some of us (points to self) had almost forgotten that the “Old Serpent Head” existed. In case you haven’t heard, Cajun Prognosticator James Carville, a hired gun for Democrats, is predicting the collapse of the Trump Administration. Can you say wishcrafting? Sure you can.

Way, way back in 1992, James Carville, with his partner Paul Begala, were (successfully) working to get Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton elected to the Presidency of the United States. President George H.W. Bush was presiding over a sluggish economy and relatively high employment. Although the economy was poised for a resurgence, it was stuttering. Carville came up with a phrase that perfectly encapsulated the time: “It’s the economy, stupid.” Since that time, he has gone from a loveable Left-wing goon to an irascible codger to a foul-mouthed and malodorous crypt-keeper at age 80. Carville continues to be wrong. In 2022, he predicted Liz Cheney would be Speaker of the House. Wrong-o. This past year, he predicted that Kamala would win the 2024 Presidential race.

Now, Mr. Carville is predicting the collapse of the Trump Administration, according to The Hill:

Democratic strategist James Carville suggested the Trump administration will “collapse” within 30 days as the public reacts to the sweeping actions from the executive branch.

“I believe that this administration, in less than 30 days, is in the midst of a massive collapse and particularly a collapse in public opinion,” Carville said during a conversation with Mediaite’s Dan Abrams about the Trump administration’s unprecedented recent actions.

Abrams asked Carville to clarify what he meant, to confirm that Carville believes the administration will crumble shortly.

“It’s collapsing right now. We’re in the midst of a collapse,” Carville replied. “This is the lowest approval, not even close, that any president has ever had at a comparable time.”

Okay, Skeletor. The Democrats need to play possum because the collapse is coming:

Carville went on to cite polling about Trump’s approval rating dropping and claimed it would be “easy pickings here in six weeks,” advising his party to “just lay back.”

“You literally think 30 days to six weeks, the Trump administration is effectively going to collapse in terms of public support?” Abrams asked.

“It’s collapsing right now,” Carville responded. “It’s over.”

According to RealClearPolitics, Trump’s average approval rating stands at 49.1 percent.

It does depend on which poll, but none of them detail a rating as bad as Carville alleges. The Economic Times disagrees with me:

Carville reiterated his belief that Trump’s presidency is unravelling faster than many expect. He pointed to a Harvard poll indicating Trump’s approval rating had fallen from 53 per cent at the start of his term to below 39 per cent in a short period.
Using a historical analogy, he compared the current moment to Pickett’s Charge during the Civil War, suggesting that Democrats should hold back and let Trump’s troubles worsen on their own. “Hold your fire,” he urged, implying that in just a few weeks, the situation will become even more damaging for the administration.

We have to remember that it is not just the Democrats, like Hakeem Jeffries and Elizabeth Warren who are jonesing for Trump to fail but also the Never-Trumpers and the lily-livered, spine-free Republicans. If you ever watch, Katie Hopkins from Batshit Bonkers Britain, she is 100% spot on here:
