Pocahontas Proclaims Pete Hegseth Unfit!

Pocahontas, a.k.a. Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, sent a letter to Pete Hegseth demanding answers. As a liberal Democrat, she’s unsurprisingly furious about Donald Trump’s choice of Hegseth for Secretary of Defense. Hegseth’s confirmation hearings begin on January 14.

Petulant Pocahontas

The 33-page paper she sent to Pete Hegseth includes 72 questions, many with parts a, b, and c, all demanding answers by January 10.

Dear Pete, don’t indulge this hysterical tirade. Instead, prepare to address these points during the hearings—they’re sure to come up. Ignore her bloated document filled with citations, rambling blather, and meandering bloviations. She is trying to bait you. Be ready and prepared, but don’t fall for the trap.

I have serious concerns about your qualifications to serve in this role given your past history,
including mismanagement of two non-profit organizations you ran, accusations of sexual assault and drinking problems, your blatant disregard for the contributions of female servicemembers, support for war crimes and torture, threats to politicize the military, advocating for ‘war’ against political enemies, threats to undermine DoD readiness and diversity, and contempt for veterans receiving benefits they earned. – Elizabeth Warren

Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Elizabeth—my dear, grab your beer and take a breather. Goodness gracious.

Lizzy seems obsessed with Pete—particularly his body and his tattoos. She’s fixated on the one gracing his chiseled bicep that reads Deus Vult—Latin for “God’s will.” Naturally, Elizabeth is all flustered.

Insider Threat Says Elizabeth

For some strange reason, she sees Pete as a hidden threat. What does that even mean? Is she talking about the labels the Department of Justice and Homeland Security have been trying to attach, like “white supremacy,” “Christian nationalist,” or “right-wing extremist”?

Pocahontas is just bitter that the days of her liberal fairy tale are finally coming to an end. So, of course, have your lackeys write down their outbursts and send them in.

Strikingly, the Massachusetts Democrat latched onto dubious concerns about a Deus Vult tattoo on Hegseth’s bicep, a Latin phrase that translates to “God wills it.”

Warren pointed to a Reuters article recounting how a National Guard master sergeant believed the former Fox News host could be an “insider threat.” That master sergeant had done a quick internet search and determined that the tattoo had links to right-wing extremism and had been a battle cry for the Crusaders.

[…]

“You were also removed from President Biden’s inauguration because of concerns that you were an insider threat after reports that your ‘Deus Vult’ tattoo ‘was a Christian expression associated with right-wing extremism,’” she wrote to Hegseth.

“We cannot have a Defense Secretary whose fellow servicemembers feel concerned enough about to report as a potential insider threat.” – New York Post

Baseless Claims and Military Reform

I have no idea where Elizabeth is getting her information. Honestly, it’s starting to look like she’s just making things up. As a prior military member—though it’s been a while—I’d gladly welcome Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense. And yes, Lizzy, the military absolutely needs to be purged of woke ideology.

The Senator rambles on, arguing that military leaders shouldn’t be held accountable for politicians’ decisions. Is she suggesting that politicians should take the blame instead? How about they stop forcing the top brass to implement ridiculous policies? If that’s the case, then she and Pete are on the same page.

About a month ago, Pete appeared on The Megyn Kelly Show before he began gearing up for his confirmation hearing. If you want to hear from Pete himself, here’s your chance.

In earlier episodes of The Megyn Kelly Show, Megyn dissects the allegations against Pete, exposing their absurdity.
