Back in 2023, a plus-sized passenger (read: obese) petitioned the FAA for bigger seats for bigger butts. Seems as if this passenger who calls herself an “influencer” is at it again.
Last year, Jae’lynn Chaney drafted a Change.org petition to the FAA for accommodations. The airlines, in general, were not “inclusive” enough. Why? Well, she and other passengers sometimes have a hard time fitting their keisters in their seats and this is the FAA, airlines’ and other paying passengers’ problem to fix.
Jae’lynn is a so-called “Influencer” by profession. She lives in Vancouver, Washington and identifies as “polyamorous”. I know, an obese, liberal woman who lives in Washington and identifies as “polyamorous”. Call me shocked. Again, this is the type of person in this state who double-masks and stares at you cross-eyed if you sneeze whilst they’re rolling around on the scooter in the supermarket and loading up their cart with processed crap, but I digress.
Jae’lynn, who qualifies as morbidly obese, tipping the scales at nearly 450, was horrified by the treatment she received at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac) recently when an airport employee “refused to push her in a wheelchair”, as the claim goes.
My ordeal at SeaTac Airport will shock you. It is soooo uncomfortable. Even when I told her I really needed the chair and needed her to let me sit down in it she blatantly ignored me and kept walking. I was then forced to walk up one of the longest jet bridges I’ve encountered and she didn’t stop.”-Jae’lynn Chaney
Jae’lynn, who likes to document her “Influencer/Traveler” lifestyle on TikTok and Instagram, to include bikini photos (yeah, I know) and videos of her and her fiancé (a man) smooching it up in a hot tub, is on oxygen and is only 27 years-old. She has pulmonary hypertension. This claim that a worker completely ignored her requests for a wheelchair is a few months old, but bears in mind the question as some of us go wheels-up for the holidays: is being obese a disability? Should an obese 27 year-old get the same treatment as a, say, skinny and frail 82 year-old man with a heart condition? If you were a staff member at an airport and had only one wheelchair available, who would you choose to wheel up a ramp? Who would be deemed as having a bigger need? The elderly person or the obese 20-something year-old? Honest question.
“Plus-sized-influencer” who also probably calls herself a “girl-boss” Jae’lynn, has in the past petitioned hotels for accommodations suited to obese guests. Bigger elevators, bigger showers. (Bigger toilet seats?) At the same time of these petitions for larger accommodations, free airplane seats and wheelchair access, Jae’lynn claims that obesity is NOT a disability. She CHOOSES to be a BBW (Big, Beautiful Woman). Hell, the “gym bros” are BLOWING UP her Tinder account.
They’re all about that bass, I guess…?
Unfortunately, not every airport employee is a gym bro who is in shape to push an almost 500-pound woman (by choice) up “one of the longest jet bridges ever”. I am in and out of SeaTac pretty regularly. Last June, we requested accommodations for my father who has COPD. He is maybe 1 buck, 40 soaking wet. During their visit here, my 78 year-old mom took a fall and also needed wheelchair assistance. With all of the construction at SeaTac, and limited staffing, it took some time and coordination to get both my parents off to their gate in their wheelchairs. SeaTac now also has those creepy, automated wheelchairs in an addition to staff members that will probably outlive us after a zombie apocalypse. I can see it now. The creepy wheelchairs and the cockroaches….
Moving right along, getting a staff member to accommodate even the elderly was a bit of a challenge. These staff members also must attempt to prioritize passengers who need to be at their gates and on their flights. My sneaking suspicion is this staff member got called away to assist with another passenger needing a connection and Jae-Lynn chose to claim it was because of her obesity.
I am not trying to slam obese passengers or those who struggle with obesity in general. But, it’s been almost two years since she petitioned the FAA for bigger seats on our dime and Jae-Bae’s plight of being a “plus-sized, polyamorous, body-positive” traveler have continued. This should be a lesson in maturity for some, but it goes largely ignored for these PNW liberals: If something outside your sphere of influence doesn’t change, perhaps you should look inward. Stay away from VooDoo Doughnuts. Drink more water. Say “no” to the extra-large, extra-value meal. Get outside. Walk a little bit each day. See yourself as God’s child and then desire to want and to do better for yourself, your health and your loved ones who have a front-row seat to your self-demise.
And, yes. Stop expecting other individuals to cater to your whims. Nobody owes you that extra cupcake or extra space for your ass, ever.

She better be careful if she goes to the beach, especially in the PNW, Greenpeace might try to roll her back in the water…
Like all lefties, just a self-absorbed twit wanting attention for her poor life choices..
What a horrible thing to.do to the sea and the life living therein. What a particularly foul form of pollution.
Ummm, how about no, toots. You have chosen to be obese. This despite the obvious detrimental health consequences of your stupidity. If your porcine carcass is such that you cannot fit into a normal seat, buy two or three. Your asinine choices do not my responsibility make. You should be grateful that you aren’t my seatmate. Were you such, the armrest between us would be mashed down without regard to your comfort. Any protestations would be met with a deliberately vile stream of vocal derision at a volume certain to be heard throughout the cabin. Any response by yourself other than “I apologize” would be met with continued mockery of your abhorrent lifestyle choices and the abject stupidity of such. Stupidity and ignorance such as yours should be met with derision.
A few years back, someone on 4chan suggested locking up obese people and force them to exercise until they were slim.
OK, it’s 4chan but after reading that I’m thinking “He had an interesting idea.”
