LeVar Burton is hating on Moms for Liberty these days as he gives a warning to them in an acceptance speech at the National Book Awards.
LeVar Burton is living under a rock instead of a rainbow these days. He thinks Moms For Liberty is dangerous, but he’s the one who is threatening.
The former Reading Rainbow star stood before the National Book Awards while giving an acceptance speech and said,
“Before we get going, are there any Moms for Liberty in the house?” Burton asked, while the New York audience laughed. “Moms for Liberty? No? Good. Then hands will not need to be thrown tonight.” – Breitbart News
Why is LeVar so hostile towards Moms For Liberty, I wonder? What does he have against women? And what does he have against protecting children?
Does LeVar promote porn in elementary schools? Apparently so. That, or he hasn’t educated himself about what is going on in regular-day America.
Sounds to me like he’s trying to make himself relevant again simply by jumping on the closest bandwagon. But if he knew what was really going on, would he still support such vile?

What is the deal with celebrities wanting this sort of smut and filth in schools?
Moms For Liberty responded to LeVar Burton on X with,
American moms weep as a childhood favorite, Reading Rainbow, calls for physical attacks against us because we are protecting the innocence of our children. @levarburton, why have you sunk so low? Threatening physical violence against women?
And then there’s PINK telling her fanbase that she’ll hand out “banned books” at her concert. By the way, these gross books are not banned. I am sure you can buy them at your nearest Barnes & Noble.
But it is groups like Moms For Liberty trying to keep them out of the hands of children in schools where drag queens are permitted to come and read to your children.
I really thought we were taking a turn for the better by protecting the children in school by not allowing these graphic books that are full of porn. But I guess celebrities like Pink and LeVar bring the topic back up and insist they be there for the kids.
We have a big chapter of Moms For Liberty where I live, and they made news not too long ago when some leaders tried to shut down the Kirk Cameron event in my neck of the woods. While I no longer have school-aged children, I should not let that deter me from getting involved with them, even if it might land me in jail.

Apparently the Soros funded “Southern Poverty Law Center” labeled Moms for Liberty as an “anti-government extremist group”.

Would he gleefully read those particular books on Reading Rainbow? With the illustrations held up beside his face?

Remember, these people are Progressives – it is their religion.
Two pillars of Progressivism are that we should be able to do whatever makes us “happy” without consequence (hedonism) and that man peopledom has conquered nature and we can make it bend to our will, even so far as defying genetics (transhumanism). This isn’t politics. It’s a religion, displacing the one that built Western Civilization: Christianity.
