Proof that perversion comes in all shapes and sizes is the latest buzz regarding the Dalai Lama.
Now, I never held anything against the man. I remember being a just a kid who dabbled in different “religions” back in my college days. I’ve even gone to see the Dalai Lama speak back in my days of dabbling and trying hard to impress those anti-Christian-boho-creative writers in my circle that I wasn’t one.
I have since repented for that. The Dalai Lama is not God; there is only one True God and Savior who we celebrated yesterday. The Dalai Lama is not a god. Yet, most refer to him as “His Holiness”, even after he seemingly exhibits grooming behavior with a little boy. Check out the clip at about 4:30 in:
So, the Dalai Lama, flanked by everyone else in a mask, hugs the kid. Then, asks the kid to kiss his cheek. Then, asks the kid to kiss his lips. Then, sticks out his tongue and asks the kid to suck his tongue. The loving onlookers chuckle. The sweet, old gentle soul, the Dalai Lama, has asked this young boy to full-on French him in front of his parents and other adults. How is this okay?! Because, peace and love and light or something like that, right?
During his meeting with students and members of M3M Foundation at courtyard of Thekchen Choeling Tsuglakhang, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama advised a young Indian boy to look up to a good human being who always work for cultivating peace and happiness in the world.”-Tibet.net
I mean, children are happier human beings when they have not been exploited and taken advantage of by perverts, your “holiness”. Cultivating peace and happiness in the world and not anger and strife starts with adults pouring into them and teaching them right from wrong. Tongue-kissing a child is wrong. I don’t care what your “culture” is. Many a serial killer was sexually abused as a child. It all usually starts out as a consensual hug and moves on from there. The Dalai Lama went right to first base in a matter of a minute.
Apparently, the justification in some circles harkens back to a Tibetan tradition. In Tibet, sticking out one’s tongue is known as a traditional greeting, stemming from a 9th-century myth about an unpopular king with a black tongue. When the king died, Tibetans began revealing their tongues to show they hadn’t become his incarnate. Roger that. This does not include tongue kissing, though.
Because of the outrage, The Dalai Lama’s people have apologized for the incident:

Oh, he was only teasing!!! Stop being so uptight!
Classic child grooming. Lower everyones guard including your prey. Make the act appear fun / loving and like the victim wanted it.
Sick!
What happens behind closed doors if he thought this was acceptable in the open?

A valid question, I would say.

Seriously? Gentleness and Playfulness? I am willing to bet most pedos think they are also being “gentle” and “playful” when they sexually assault poor children who do not know any better. He’s just a “gentle soul” who likes to make out with babies, I guess. Just like our “gentle soul” in the White House who likes to bury his face in heads of little girls’ hair at ice cream parlors. Nothing to see here. Just gentle souls who just loooove innocent children.
His “Holiness”, The Dalai Lama, is revered across the world for being the epitome of gentleness, peacefulness and wisdom. The statement issued by the Dalai Lama’s people was nothing but a half-assed apology of flat-out disgusting behavior. Those who are laughing at his “playfulness” should be ashamed. Normalizing this behavior desensitizes a world of children. Kids already have enough thrown at them growing up. Muddying these waters of what is abuse and what is characterized as “just play” is dangerous.
Look at situations from all angles, and you will become more open.”-The Dalai Lama
Yeah, man. There is only one angle to look at this from. Head-on. A Buddhist monk reaching in for a hug, then asking a kid to “suck his tongue”. Dear Jesus, take the wheel on this one. Not sure if it is senility on behalf of the Dalai Lama or just an overall “god” complex over the years that affords him the ability to molest a child in plain sight but, no matter which “angle” you look at this, it’s bad and it is not okay.
Because of lack of moral principle, human life becomes worthless. Moral principle, truthfulness, is a key factor. If we lose that, then there is no future.”-Dalai Lama
Sadly, it’s not just the Dalai Lama who is the problem here.
