Anyone who has paid attention for the last couple of years knows that anytime old Joe Biden says, “I’m not kidding”, he is flat out lying. Not a joke. True story. Am I right? Thus, when Joe sat down for an interview with Kal Penn and said that his mother would think it was “close to sinful” to pass laws about gender affirming care for pre-adults, we knew he was lying.

Joe doesn’t dare sit down with a real journalist (say, Matt Taibbi or Bari Weiss, Google her) so he sat down with Kal Penn (of Harold and Kumar). The full interview will air on The Daily Show tonight, but we are blessed to have this piece now. Here is three minutes to slake your thirst.

Now in the first 21 seconds of this clip, Mr. Penn is talking about his partner Josh, auntie and uncles, five year engagements and Cardi B. performing the nuptials. Take a look at Biden’s open mouth and you will know that creepy Joe has no idea was Kal Penn is talking about. Next comes the story about Joe, a senior in high school (62 years ago) in a car with his dad and they see two men kiss each other. Joey is told by his dad “they love each other”. I hate to say Joey is lying, but couples didn’t kiss “romantically” in public in 1961, same sex or hetero. I wouldn’t know for sure, but I don’t remember seeing it in the 70’s. Whatevs.

1. No way he knows who Cardi B is.

2. No way two well dressed men stud outside of their work and kissed in 1961. Completely made up in his head.

Joe’s ears perk up when Mr. Penn says transgender. Joe now has a hint what the plot is and says, “Ah, transgender kids is a really harder thing.” Not my English, don’t blame me. Then Biden says kids have feelings:

In his sit-down with Penn, Biden said, “It’s not like, you know, a kid wakes up one morning and says, ‘You know, I decided I want to become a man, or I want to become a woman, or I want to change.’ I mean, what are they thinking about? They’re human beings. They love. They have feelings.”

“It’s cruel,” Biden said.

“And the way we do it is we make sure we pass legislation like we passed on same-sex marriage — you mess with that, you’re breaking the law, and you’re going to be held accountable,” Biden said.

I think Joey’s late mother might have a different idea what’s “close to a sin” if she heard about hormone blockers and bottom surgery. And, yes, teenagers do wake and make impetuous choices about their lives. Trust me, I was a teenager and I raised a teenager. My level headed and hardworking teen (at the time) thought he could hide a third degree burn from me and go back to military college. He could have lost a leg. But, teens drink and drive, teens quit school, teens do many things impetuously, like decide they are not meant to be the sex they were born as.

Additionally, Joey wants to make “gender affirming care” a federal law:

I hate to bring up Nazis but when it comes to sick surgeries, Dr. Mengele could only dream of this. If you have never read our Lisa’s post on “Transgenderism Trend May Be Killing Our Kids”, you should read it now. But, I wasn’t the only one who thought of Nazis:

I don’t think “close to sinful” is a descriptor for what we are doing to our children. “Old-time, fire and brimstone style sin” is the only way to say it. And I am craving White Castles now.
