Yesterday morning UK’s The Daily Mail published an article complete with map outlining the scope and reach of ISIS across the world.
Quite frankly, I believe that map is incomplete as it doesn’t include individuals worldwide who are planning future attacks. In fact, little did they nor anyone else know that just a few short hours later there would be a terror attack on the streets of London.
A knife-wielding man attacked people at Russell Square, central London, killing one woman and injuring five. Police apprehended the suspect whose mental health raised concerns while possible terrorist motivations are also being investigated.
The official response is problematic all the way around.
You see, officials are stating he might, just MIGHT have mental health issues. Wait what?
Think about that for a minute. The terrorist is a 19 yr old Somali who might be mental but not a terrorist. SERIOUSLY?
#London knife killer is Somali male who entered UK by way of Norway. Care to guess ultimate motive?

What do YOU think the motive is?

That’s a fair question

Cameron’s right. In fact, Germany seems to be the leader on the PC and head-in-sand front concerning terrorism. Chancellor Merkel dug in her heels this week and it wasn’t pretty.
Chancellor Angela Merkel at a press conference said she bore no responsibility for this spate of violence, and has no intention of changing her policy of open-door migration. She also says, “Anxiety and fear cannot guide our political decisions.”
Don’t be anxious she says. Don’t be afraid she says. Don’t make it political she says. Its not MY fault she says.
Tell that to the families of those killed in Wurzburg, Ansbach, Munich, Normandy, Rouen, and now London.
Tell that to the American family whose 60 year old wife and mother was stabbed to death just last night in London.
Lets go back to the mental health gambit shall we? Does anyone seriously believe that a Somali living in Norway just one day snapped, trekked over to London with his knife and stabbed people randomly? Before you answer that, keep in mind that Somalia is a giant breeding ground for terrorism and has been for years.
Likewise, does anyone believe it was mental health issues that “triggered” the horrific terror attack on Father Jacques Hamel in Rouen? Was the person who knifed a woman and her two daughters on a beach for daring to wear swimsuits mental? What about the one who went on a stabbing spree with an axe on a train in Germany or the one in Ansbach? Did they have a psychotic break? The “lone wolf” kind I guess

What about that Washington DC Metro cop that authorities had been investigating for SIX YEARS.
In those years, authorities say, he threatened FBI agents, gave advice to suspected terrorists and mused about joining the Islamic State. But it was not until last week that federal agents concluded that Young, 36, of Fairfax, Va., had committed the crime of attempting to support a terrorist organization.
Maybe he was mental too?
Believe me folks, the fact that the authorities are so quick to blame mental issues on these attacks is a significant disservice to those who truly are in pain and need assistance. Not only that, but trying to flip the narrative around into mental health issues doesn’t do ANYONE any favors when it comes to the realities of terrorism.
ISIS has made it clear. They will use any means necessary to inflict pain and terror around the world, and wipe out all who do not bow to their beliefs. They know they are winning when the official response to terror attacks involves excuses, deflection, more open borders, and misguided sympathy.
How many more attacks and lives lost will it take for the powers that be to wake up and smell the coffee? I’m afraid the answer will be too many.
Pray for the victims and their families. Pray for the American family as they mourn the needless loss of their wife and mother. Pray that we ALL wake up before its too late.
does anyone believe it was mental health issues…?
Well, since I believe Islam is evidence of psychosis, yes. They should all be in mental institutions or graves.
Very true. However, I doubt that they are talking about THAT kind of mental psychosis. if they were, they’d have to admit Islam is real and very very bad.
We can’t have that now can we?
“How many more attacks and lives lost will it take for the powers that be to wake up and smell the coffee? I’m afraid the answer will be too many”.
You’re right. The answer will be many because “the powers that be” are working hand in hand with the Islamists.
They’re the ones that bring them to western nations, they’re the ones that protect them and they’re the ones telling their own citizens they just have to get used to being killed and raped.
Nothing will change until “the powers that be” are dealt with first.
Excellent point.
When Dylan Roof went on his rampage in a Black church there was no mention of mental illness. The narrative always included the word racist. So why is it that every time, and I mean every time, there is another ‘lone wolf’ Islamist terrorist attack the media tries to downplay it and cite that the attacker had a mental illness? Bullying seems to be their main claim, because we don’t accept them? If the media is trying to cast blame on us non believers then what is their motive? Are they afraid they will no longer be allowed into the inner circle of democrats if they do not support their twisted viewpoints?
Here’s a suggestion, instead of trying to lay the blame at the feet of us, the unwashed and unenlightened such as themselves, how about you investigate why Muslims fail to assimilate into secular society.
