It’s hard to believe that in our nearly 250 years as a nation, we have never had a President or Vice President that was a United States Marine, but it’s true. In the Trump Administration, there are many shining stars, but JD Vance is the shiniest of them all. Turns out when our Nation is in trouble call in the United States Marines.

We got a hint during the campaign for the 2024 Presidential Election when we first saw the Vance Glance during the Vice Presidential Debate against Tim Walz:

We also saw it during President Trump’s Joint Address to Congress. JD Vance’s star shone brightly when he told Europe to stop criminalizing freedom, which our Nina wrote.

Today, C. Doughlas Golden wrote “It’s the Biggest Lie Nobody Caught – JD Vance Obliterates Signal Story Writer with Single Revelation” in Western Journal:

“Let’s just make sure our messaging is tight here.”

Those are Vice President J.D. Vance’s words in the “bombshell” “war plans” Signal chat of doom that definitely wasn’t a bombshell nor contained detailed war plans. But I’ll give the administration one thing now that we’ve seen the full conversation: Vance definitely got his messaging out, and quite tightly.

We have the receipts at this point, and they don’t quite cover the amount of the rhetorical check Goldberg was trying to cash. This is a man whose anti-Trump oeuvre usually relies on overheated rhetoric from anonymous sources — and when he has actual evidence in the form of screenshots, he still manages to mislead about just what he found out.

It was a good 48-hour run, though. Shame that the inability to fact-check that whole covert “active intelligence officer” thingy ended up tightening Vance’s “messaging” on how much you can trust the media quite adequately. Marines know how to keep their message tight. Did you see our Marine Veep at Quantico yesterday? From the Independent Journal Review:

Vice President J.D. Vance shot machine guns and artillery at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia, after giving a speech to Marines Wednesday.

Vance, who previously served in the Marines, fired five weapons during his visit to the shooting range, including a howitzer and a M240B medium machine gun. He shot the weapons after giving an encouraging speech to the current Marines about a “renewed sense of patriotism” and “commitment to excellence.”

Along with the M240B and howitzer, the vice president shot a M27 5.56 infantry rifle, a M107 .50 sniper, and an FPV drone that is currently in experiment, according to a pool report.

“You know what you’re doing,” a Marine told Vance as he fired the M27 infantry rifle, according to the pool report.

During his speech, Vance touted that every branch of the U.S. military has been meeting its recruiting goals since President Donald Trump reentered office, further promising to invest in the Marine Corps like the nation “has never seen before.”

“We’re going to invest in the Marine Corps and the entire United States military like we never have before,” Vance told the crowd of Marines. “Over $1 trillion we’re going to invest and building up the entire manufacturing base of this country so that you guys, when you do go to war, when you have to go to war, have the best weapons anywhere in the world. We know from the long history of the United States of America that while the leading edge of American power is you all, it really matters what you guys have in your hands and what you guys have on your backs when you go to war.”

“So I promised you from the President of the United States, we are going to send you, if we have to send you to war, with the best equipment, the best ammunition, the best weapons. And we are going to empower you guys to win when you have to. That’s the purpose of the United States Marine Corps,” the vice president continued.

Young Marines awaiting Vance’s arrival appeared highly enthusiastic and excited for the vice president to meet them, The Daily Wire’s Mary Margaret Olohan reported.

Vance fits right in and doesn’t look like he is playing dress-up because he IS a U.S. Marine.

The first U.S. Marines were first recruited at Tun Tavern on November 10, 1775 and this year is their 250th anniversary. It seems appropriate that we finally have a Marine Vice President for this awesome anniversary. Semper Fidelis.
