Please. This is the kind of stuff that scares voters away from the GOP. Being dogmatically against abortion because lives are killed, is like saying war is wrong because people die. We’re all going to die, so let’s get over it. Reckless abortion is just as stupid as dogmatic anti-abortion.
Have to agree w/ re-thinker. Abortion is the symptom of a huge cultural problem, not the problem itself – otherwise, it wouldn’t be such a hot-button topic for thirty-six years running. Our culture is decaying; it would be laughable to a healthy culture that 93% of abortions occur for reasons of convenience.

Abortion is like war because people die so we shouldn’t be against abortion and get over it?????? What is dogmatic anti-abortion? Is that like being really against abortion? As opposed just mildly against it. I’m just plain against it because I think it involves the killing of innocent children. Call me crazy but I just don’t like it when kids die. Makes be really sad. So I guess I’m one of those dogmatic anti-abortion people. Shucks.
Knott Buyinit says: I think as long as we are humble about it, the average American will forgive us social conservatives for our little quirks. After all, sins, like people, are created equal. In God’s eyes, having or performing an abortion is no worse than telling the whitest of white lies. The difference comes in what you choose to do about it. Where you or I might choose to “go and sin no more”, our President chose to back an infanticide bill. Let’s keep that fact at the front of our discussions and we will turn the abortion issue so much against the liberals that they will shut up about it forever.
