As of this writing (May 13, 2024 late night), the United States’s analysts believe that Israel has in place sufficient logistics to begin a full-on war in Rafah. No one in this Administration believes that a full invasion has begun. The mutant-brained, spineless chickens in this administration couldn’t analyze a Kindergarten soccer game, with help from the kids. When you include Joe’s deep love for Qatar, it gives you pause for believe shite from these people. Does that mean the invasion is imminent?
I try to visualize all this but it makes no sense to me. The Israel-Gaza border is about the same length (37 miles) as the distance up I75 to LaFollette from Knoxville. I shouldn’t think that Knoxville would want to destroy LaFollette, but you never know. I can’t envision the amount of logistics (men and materiel) that would takes days to move. Let’s move on to see why multiple outlets are reporting this.
The Biden administration has assessed that Israel has amassed enough troops on the edge of the city of Rafah in Gaza to move forward with a full-scale incursion in the coming days, but senior US officials are currently unsure if it has made a final decision to carry out such a move in direct defiance of President Joe Biden, two senior administration officials told CNN.
One of the officials also warned that Israel has not come anywhere close to making adequate preparations – including building infrastructure related to food, hygiene and shelter – ahead of potentially evacuating more than one million Gazans are who currently reside in Rafah.
If Israel were to proceed with a major ground operation into Rafah, it would be going against months of warnings from the US to forego a full-scale offensive into the densely populated city. Biden himself voiced that warning in his most explicit terms yet last week, telling CNN’s Erin Burnett that the US would withhold some additional arms shipments to Israel if they were to take such a step.
The Howler Monkeys of the State Department rattle on about Israel having a right to be a little bit put out over the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led massacre, but no need to get all het up about those dead and missing. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken looks pitiful with a capital P.
These brainless lemurs like, Blinken, have no right to lecture Israel about “Humanitarian Aid”. The U.S. has eight hostages held in Gaza. Blinken and his fellow lemurs have done nothing to get our citizens back. By the way, the longer our hostages are held, the weaker the U.S. looks and the longer these campus protests will go on.
The New York Times reported on National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan last night:
President Biden’s national security adviser said on Monday that while the United States was committed to Israel’s defense, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government had still failed to provide the White House with a plan for moving nearly a million Gazans safely out of Rafah before any invasion of the city.
In a lengthy presentation to reporters, the adviser, Jake Sullivan, also said Israel had yet to “connect their military operations” to a political plan for the future governance of the Palestinian territory.
Mr. Sullivan, who has been at the center of the administration’s response to the Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel and its aftermath, described in detail the administration’s objectives in intervening to achieve a cease-fire and a return of hostages, including Americans, still in the hands of Hamas. But beneath repeated expressions of support for Israel, he made clear Mr. Biden’s frustration in dealings with Mr. Netanyahu, after a series of heated conversations between the two men.
Mr. Sullivan insisted that the only weapons Mr. Biden was withholding from the Israelis were 2,000-pound bombs, for fear that the U.S. munitions, which can level whole city blocks, would be employed by Israel in its effort to rout Hamas leaders from their tunnel network, deep under the city.
Is there a “Eunuchs Are Us” store where they sell men like Blinken and Sullivan or are they groomed at special schools OR both. Jeebus. And, then there is Pramila Jayapal who loves Hamas:
& Egypt is refusing to let aid in through Rafah crossing

Egypt, Jordan, Qatar and the others are happy to let Israel and the U.S. take the blame. When those countries know they don’t was Hamas, Hezbollah OR the Palestinians near them.

This was observed at Ace of Spades a few days ago: The State Department told Israel that they would tell them the location of Hamas leaders if they called off their attack.
Our own government is aiding and abetting terrorists and withholding information. I hope Israel takes the “rubble don’t make trouble” approach.
It seems highly unlikely that US Intel agencies have a better idea where the Hamas leadership is located than does the Mossad.
400+ hostages assisted in the downfall of Jimmah Carter. Eight hostages may lead to the downfall of Joe Bite-Me. What a mess this all is. The world is burning and all Joe Obama can do is to fiddle with lawfare.
One of the officials also warned that Israel has not come anywhere close to making adequate preparations – including building infrastructure related to food, hygiene and shelter – ahead of potentially evacuating more than one million Gazans are who currently reside in Rafah.
Ain’t their job. The civilians are the concern of the Palestinian authorities. Which happen to be Hamas, the folks at war with Israel. Nothing – not treaties, not just war theory, nothing outside of Progressive idiocy – requires them to provide any more than a sign that says “If you’re not fighting, go that way and don’t stop until you can’t hear the gunfire anymore.”
the longer these campus protests will go on.
Oh, Toni, that’s a desired end state. They want that stuff going on right up until they can (maybe) crack down before the election. It gives them cause to do funky stuff with balloting and it keeps the intimidation on. Because the “protests” are not about policy; they’re about starting the revolution. It’s about the peasants on the barricades, waving the red flags.
had yet to “connect their military operations” to a political plan for the future governance of the Palestinian territory.
“Well, we plan on killing every last Hamas terrorist, if possible. We also plan on making sure there are no tunnels and no weapons caches anywhere. And then we plan on giving back Gaza to the remaining 15% of Palis.”
See? Easy.
intervening to achieve a cease-fire and a return of hostages
Funny how they keep saying “return of the hostages” but they never actually push agreement to anything that would do that.
