As Donald Trump’s potential Facebook ban looms large today, 45 has trolled once again. News feeds, Twitter feeds and Facebook feeds were a buzz with Trump. Why?

Because Donald Trump knows his way around things. Because Donald Trump launched his own communications platform. The platform, entitled “From The Desk of Donald J. Trump” is actually more like a personal blog but if you read the news, you would think this is the end of the world as we know it.

The site was put together by Campaign Nucleus, created by his former campaign manager, Brad Parscale. So far, not much is new on Trump’s site itself. Trump snarks it up throwing shade at Mitt Romney for being booed off stage and taunts the Democrats. And he takes his jab at big media and tech.

Twitter stock ‘plunged’ as results are no longer cutting it for investors. Shares are off 15% today. Bad forecasts are hurting the outlook but more importantly, in my opinion, it has become totally BORING as people flock to leave the site. Michael Nathanson stated, ‘the math doesn’t make sense’ as he lowered his price target. I guess that’s what happens when you go against FREEDOM OF SPEECH! Don’t blame poor Mark Schmucherberg-err-Zuckerberg should Trump be banned from Facebook for life. It’s the Facebook Oversight Board that will decide Trump’s fate on the platform. In other words, if they determine Trump should have his platform back, Zuckerberg can place the blame on them. So much for moving fast and breaking stuff. Zuckerberg, coward that he is, may need to duck and run later this morning.

Nonetheless, Trump is still taking up residency on the platforms from which he was banned-all because of a little blog. Actually, he was taking up quite a large amount of real estate last time we checked.

Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday…

Seems to us Mr. Zuckerberg is in a bit of a conundrum. Conservatives are already being flagged on Facebook and thrown in “Facebook jail”. Some Conservatives decided to leave the platform all together. Some jumped to Parler in January, that is, until Amazon Web Services shut the platform down. But all is a-flutter now in Facebook Land. The anti-Trump crowd does not want the former President to gain his platform back. They will leave Facebook and Instagram. They will delete their accounts immediately.

Um, perhaps good riddance is in order here? Less virtue-signaling posts to hide? Less judgmental and insensitive remarks against Conservatives, Christians and the like? Less pseudo-intellectual rants about how they are so much better because they believe in science? Go ahead, liberals. Honestly, I don’t care who got their vaccine and who didn’t or who’s wearing a mask and who’s going to kill everybody because they aren’t. It’s really none of my business.

Can you just imagine Facebook without them? If Trump gets his Facebook profile back, exactly how many promised to walk away? But, if Trump doesn’t, they will remain. And if they do, they will be totally content with Antifa pages remaining on the platform. Jobless losers who burned down our cities last summer are a hell of a revenue stream, right, Zuckerberg? They got to stay after all of the destruction they’ve inflicted upon America last summer. Now it comes down to this: if Trump is denied access to Facebook, the liberals will continue to grace us with their presence. They will also continue to allow their kids to view at overtly sexual content on social media and perhaps engaging in destructive behaviors. They will also remain totally oblivious to the propaganda they are being fed on a daily basis to the point that this propaganda infiltrates their Top Of Mind Awareness. And, lucky us, we’ll get to see more masked photos of outdoor weekend hikes. Oh, the joy.

Is Trump’s “platform” actually a “platform” or is it a blog? Who cares? But with Facebook, Twitter and Media abuzz and viewers/readers all at Eleventy, I would say that Mr. Trump got his troll in last night and it was sheer perfection. Bigly.
