Over 6,000 gun owners and pro-gun supporters in the state of Washington plan to defy a new draconian gun law next month by transferring, buying, and selling firearms at a rally on the state capitol grounds, effectively committing mass felonies to send the message to state government that “We will not comply!”

On December 13, gun owners and supporters are planning to converge on the state capitol in Olympia.  I-594, the new gun control that just passed last week, makes becoming a felon as easy as handing your gun to your buddy to shoot in your backyard.  Click on the flowchart below to see all the ways that gun owners can become felons:

Okay, you ask, so what?  Why should I care what’s happening in WA?  The short answer is, because their open and stated goal is taking guns from all of us.   But this time, patriots aren’t going down without a fight.

For the first time in modern history, thousands of Americans aren’t going to bother with letter writing campaigns that don’t work or phone calls that get ignored.  We are going to show up, fully armed, and break the law while demanding that the government repeal their overstepping and infringement.  Main event organizer Gavin Seim explains why:

We’re not waiting for politicians, judges or lawyers. Our birthright is NOT to be touched. We call on our Sheriffs, local representatives and legislators to stand with us and uphold their oaths.

The Constitution is the supreme law and our God given rights are NOT open for negotiation. We choose to uphold the law as peacefully and principled as possible, but it will be upheld.

We will buy and sell guns from whom we please, we will not submit to background checks, we will not give up our rights, WE WILL NOT Comply.

What began as a couple guys wanting to send the message that they would not obey the lawless has turned into a movement getting national attention.  More than 5000 people RSVP’d in the first 72 hours.  Currently the total stands at over 6000, with more standing up each day.  Several websites have covered it, and Seim has been on local radio twice explaining the necessity and justification for the rally.
