The rumors are true

The rumors are true

Barbara Walters announced today that Whoopi Goldberg is, indeed, taking terrorist-loving Rosie O’Donnell’s place on The View. She begins the day after Labor Day. There’s no word yet on a rumored second hiring, although Kathy Griffin’s name has been tossed around, as well.

And don’t worry, folks, the left-wing moonbattery will not fall by the wayside with Goldberg leading the way, no sir:

With her household-name status and vocal criticisms of President Bush, Goldberg will likely give “The View” the star power and sound bites formerly supplied by O’Donnell. On today’s show, she hinted that like her predecessor, she won’t shy away from contentious topics, regardless of whether or not her co-hosts share her opinion.

“I’m going to be a little meaner than normal,” she said jokingly.

“Just be yourself!” Hasselbeck said.

Just for fun, let’s recap some of Whoopi Goldberg’s moonbat ravings:

  • “I don’t agree, you see, I don’t really view communism as a bad thing.”
  • “This may be all Bush is really good for for me. I want some money back. I would like a little bit of it.”
  • “You’ve got to vote for someone. It’s a shame, but it’s got to be done.”
  • “That’s why I’m here tonight. Because I love bush. But someone’s giving bush a bad name. Someone has tarnished name of `bush.’ Someone has waged war, someone has deliberately misled the country, someone has attempted to amend the constitution, all in the name of bush. The bush I know and cherish would never do such things. My bush is smarter than that. And if my bush is smarter than that, you can understand just how dumb I think that other bush is. And anyone who would wave to Stevie Wonder is not fully there. I will do whatever it takes to restore bush to its rightful place and that ain’t in the White House. Vote your heart and mind and keep bush where it belongs.”
  • “The concert organizers had asked to see my material beforehand, but I Xeroxed my behind and I folded it up in an envelope and I sent it back with a big kiss mark. Because we’re Democrats. We don’t do that. We’re not afraid to laugh. That’s the other people.”

So, I guess we can look forward to more liberal spewing, lots of Bush bashing, and some crude sexual humor mixed in for good measure.

    Sounds like a great choice.
