By now, I am sure you’ve heard all about the new underground economy in New York City. Illegal immigrants have taken to exploitative ways and created a new economy in New York City.
We have underage children selling candy in the subways of New York City to help bring income to their families. Yes, they are illegals. They are part of the hundreds of people who have crossed the border illegally and are now dispersed across America. The plan put in place by Obama and carried about by Biden’s administration is calculating and well-organized, even with the help of unsuspecting Republican governors.
And now we hear about the schemes and swindling of the immigrants by other immigrants and, I’m sure, legal residents. Renting mopeds so they can deliver food under rented Uber-eats accounts seems to be the way for illegals to try to make a buck.
Mayco Milano is an immigrant from Venezuela, and The Times wrote an article that included him. After being in New York for months and trying to find work, he came across an opportunity.
Lining the sidewalks of the Roosevelt Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, where Mr. Milano and hundreds of other recent migrants are housed, were dozens of mopeds that belonged to food delivery workers. Mr. Milano quickly decided that being a food courier was his quickest — and perhaps only — way to make a living.
He found a Venezuelan man in Queens who rents mopeds by the week; he found a Dominican man who supplies functional Uber Eats logins for a fee. And with that, Mr. Milano joined New York City’s shadow army of 65,000 food delivery workers. – New York Times
This seems to be the way for people who come here illegally. When reading this story, I wanted to ask Uber Eats, “Um, hello, what is your culpability here?” I know there’s more going on here BEFORE Uber Eats gets involved.
The newest migrants in New York need money but are prohibited from working. A secondary market of fake app logins and weekly bike rentals has emerged.https://t.co/Orl4IbdCbL

The human trafficking by the drug cartels put these illegal immigrants in debt of thousands of dollars to the cartel before they even set foot in America. Once here, they need to find work to pay off that debt while trying to make a living and provide for a family they may or may not have brought over with them.
Mr. Milano, desperate to pay back the large debts he incurred in bringing his wife and three children to the United States, rents a moped (with helmet, lock and bag, but no license plate) for $400 a week; for the privilege of using an Uber Eats profile under the name “Jessica,” he pays a weekly cut of $150 to a Venezuelan woman. – New York Times
Meanwhile, Mayor Eric Adams finally realizes that his sanctuary city might not have been such a great idea. You know, money and resources.
To be a little fair to Eric Adams, New York City became a sanctuary city way back in the 1980s under Mayor Ed Koch. Still, a Democrat.
But the Roosevelt in Manhattan isn’t the only place being interrupted by illegals. Staten Island is feeling the incursion, too. The only difference is that the Islanders aren’t having it. As Toni writes about the protests by the residents there.
The folks of Staten Island have been peacefully protesting the illegal immigrant shelter for the last couple weeks. Now, they are done playing nice. They are instituting psychological warfare. A loud message blasted over a professional microphone. – Toni Williams, Victory Girl
I don’t know what the people of Manhattan can do or if they even care. Surely they do. New York City has received 100,000 illegal immigrants. Mayor Adams blames Governor Greg Abbott of Texas instead of acknowledging the originator of the crisis; Biden and his ilk. Well, Eric, you received 100,000 illegal immigrants. Imagine how Greg Abbot feels. Maybe you do now.

Well, you’ve got to ask: those people who order through Uber Eats– are they still “social distancing” or something? You wouldn’t have the supply of such moped delivery men if there were no demand, right?
Illegals are a problem that creates an opportunity. It isn’t SAFE to go to a restaurant in NYC – so you have to fort up as much as possible.
(Not all illegals – plenty of “citizen” criminals that will happily mug you, trash the restaurant, etc. There are several restaurants in Blue cities that do delivery ONLY.)

To put some numbers on the amount cartels are raking in, and on just how badly migrants are on the hook to the cartels, on local radio here in Los Angeles, they interviewed a Todd Bensman, author of “Overrun”, who had just come back from the border.
He asked everyone crossing and found that a parent with a child is paying, or, more importantly, promising to pay coyotes $9000 to cross their territory. The coyotes demand family information from the migrants and have agents both in their home towns and in the towns they are going in the US. If they don’t pay–and interest always accrues–then the threat is to do something to their family members back home. If there are 3 crossing together, the price rises to $15000.
He said everyone crossing is paying. All are indentured servants, and are on the hook to dangerous gangs.
Audio is available on streaming. It was the second hour of the John and Ken show on KFI from 9/11/2023.

Just in passing, how much in taxes to the city and state do you think the foreign invaders are paying in comparison to what those in New York City legally are doing? How can the big guy get his 10% if nothing is being paid in . . . in this country.
