The Left is no longer hiding their violent rhetoric —more than half of self-identified leftists now believe political assassination is justified. This shift highlights a troubling trend of justifying violence as a solution to political disagreement.
A new survey is making the rounds, and it’s not a good look for the so-called party of compassion. According to The Federalist, 55% of self-identified leftists believe it’s justifiable to kill Donald Trump. Yes, you read that right—more than half think political assassination is acceptable if they disagree with someone enough.

This surge in leftist violence didn’t just explode onto the scene overnight. It’s been simmering for at least a decade. It only started getting real attention after the so-called “Summer of Love” in 2020—Washington in flames, BLM torching cities, Antifa running wild coast to coast, campus radicals acting like terrorists, and everyday people thinking it’s perfectly fine to sucker punch someone like Brianna Rivers did to Savannah Craven during a street interview when she got mad at the questions and where the dialogue was leading.
The Democrats don’t even pretend to be about unity anymore. I know this seems like old news, and that’s because it is – the proof is in the pudding. This isn’t just about surveys and talking points. People are starting to put this rhetoric into action.
People like Maxine Waters, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib keep running their mouths, spewing violent rhetoric and hatred. It’s no surprise that half of the Democrat base starts to think political assassination is somehow justified when they’re constantly being fed this toxic nonsense.
This is important to highlight to understand why two assassination attempts on Donald Trump happened, why college campuses are now so open with their Jew-hatred, and why a healthcare CEO was murdered on the streets of New York— all driven by politics.

And no, this isn’t just some fringe Reddit thread. This is over half of an entire political ideology openly entertaining murder as a solution to political disagreement. Hiding under the words Free Speech isn’t gonna cut it anymore.
Elon Musk has reported receiving up to 18,000 death threats in a single day, particularly following his actions with government restructuring and firing federal workers. He has acknowledged receiving daily threats due to his controversial decisions. Those CEOs he has working with him better have some tight, top-notch security teams with them.
What’s worse is the media’s silence. They spent years painting Trump supporters as violent extremists for wearing red hats and going to rallies. Meanwhile, the Left daydreams about assassination, and no one bats an eye.
We should all be paying attention. Because when one side starts normalizing violence as a political tool, it doesn’t just stay in the comment section. It spills into real life.
In July 2024, a gunman shot at Donald Trump during a Pennsylvania rally. Luckily, it missed his head, but Corey Comperatore was killed, and others were injured. Two months later, Ryan Wesley Routh was arrested near Trump’s Florida golf course, armed with a rifle and scope, in what authorities labeled an assassination attempt. Seriously? Two attempts months apart, and we were all too eager to jump to the next damn story.
Luigi Mangione, a 26-year-old Ivy League grad, murdered the CEO of UnitedHealthcare in cold blood—and the Left is passing around the collection plate. One has to wonder what type of person gives to the legal defense, all because he supposedly “stood up” to the healthcare industry. FYI, it is now over $700,000. This is what happens when political obsession turns into moral rot. A man is dead, and instead of condemning it, leftists are treating his killer like a folk hero. That’s not activism. That’s insanity.
Let’s not forget the firebombings happening at Tesla dealerships. Just because no one was injured doesn’t make it any less violent. People are throwing Molotov cocktails—essentially bombs—at cars, setting them on fire!
So the next time someone lectures you about “threats to democracy,” first tell them we are not a democracy and then ask them if they’re okay with murder. Apparently, 55% of them might say yes.

Historically violence is the typical method used by Socialists and other totalitarian movements use to take power. The difference in the U.S. is the Second Amendment and the fact that the vast majority of firearms and persons trained to use the individually and as part of units are persons who value individual their individual freedoms. Hence, the effort to disarm citizens and make firearms and ammo too expensive to be affordable.
