Russian Jet Flies Too Close to US Warship

The Russians are obviously very afraid of our strong President and his resolve:

A Russian warplane made several close-range passes by an American warship in the Black Sea over the weekend, in what the Pentagon is calling a “provocative” move amid escalating tensions in the region.

The jet, a Russian Su-24, made numerous low-altitude passes on Saturday over the USS Donald Cook, a guided-missile Navy destroyer in the western Black Sea, the Pentagon confirmed.

How many is “numerous?  Twelve in an hour and a half.  That’s far too many to be an accident, and far too many to not be sending a very clear message.

The USS Donald Cook, for its part, “remains prepared to defend herself,” while not confirming that the crew went to battle stations.

Naturally, Obama is threatening big repercussions, like…more sanctions.  Interestingly, those sanctions—lame at best—aren’t even in response to the incident in the Black Sea.  The White House hasn’t even commented on that part, choosing instead to focus what little attention they can spare from their tyranny campaign on eastern Ukraine.  Pathetic, lame gestures from a pathetic, lame administration.  What message does it send to the Russians that they can get away with this?  And how close will they come next time?
