Students at Hampshire College in Massachusetts were really, really upset that Donald Trump won the Presidential election.

They were so upset that the day after Election Day, students lowered the American flag, and then burned it.

Did the Hampshire College administration become angry with the destructive tantrum of these students? No. The jelly-spined college president, Jonathan Lash, announced on Friday that the college would not fly the American flag.

While Lash acknowledged that the removal of Old Glory “has been especially painful to our Hampshire colleagues who are veterans or families of veterans,” he hoped that ditching the flag would “enable us to instead focus our efforts on addressing racist, misogynistic, Islamophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic, and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and behaviors.”

I rarely get headaches, but I got a whopper from all the eye-rolling after reading that verbal tripe, uttered by a supposedly responsible adult who runs a prestigious college.

But fear not! One man in the media took on one of these pontificating student snobs and eviscerated him.

On Monday night, Tucker Carlson from Fox News Channel interviewed Hampshire College student Daniel Vogel, who announced that he is a student of history and wants to become a teacher.

Lord help any student instructed by this snowflake.

Carlson began the interview by reading Vogel’s assertion that he opposed the flag due to the very existence of police and the American military who “make oppression happen.”

With those words Vogel handed Carlson enough rope to fashion a noose, into which Vogel promptly inserted his head. He was left deflecting and searching for words, eyes rolling upwards in vain attempts to think of comebacks.

Vogel had hoped to show a video of this exchange to his students someday. I don’t think that’s going to happen.
