the last days of hillary’s waning ’08 presidential bid have been pretty interesting.  first there was this little video taken when she was campaigning in puerto rico last weekend: 

and then these unbelievable pics from earlier in the week while campaigning in south dakota.  the pics are courtesy of her diehard fans (?) at the AP: 

and hey, that’s not orange juice in her glass either. 

so could these little “walk on the wild side” moments of hillary’s simply be what she is like in real life — as opposed to that cold, icy, matronly woman we have come to know over the last 2 decades?   or could they be the final transparent glimpses into the life of a losing candidate who is relieved it’s all almost over?   or could it be her operatives’ calculations to further humanize a desperate political bulwark who sees the long, prophesized return of a dynasty to the white house, completely and finally slipping away?

who knows.  i just think they’re great fun to look at.  cheers hillary!
