Sunday Morning Cafe Cocktails

Mimosa, Bloody Mary, nice flute of champagne — or maybe a favorite tipple in your coffee. Make yourself one and join me at our own Algonquin Round Table, the spirit of Dorothy Parker abides.

Happy Sunday, dear friends! Pass the bubbly and let’s have a toast to the last Sunday in August. I’m at a loss on how 2/3’s of 2025 has slipped by so quickly but here we are. And as we pass the flutes and the plates, can we take a moment of silence and offer up a prayer for all those touched by evil this past Wednesday at Annunciation Catholic School. The families and community have suffered enough, but Democrats and Media are working overtime put the focus on how dare you say any bad stuff about the “trans community”! Somehow, to say their moral compass is broken is just not enough. So let us not take our time with our family and friends for granted. Celebrate them today! L’Chaim!

Suicidal empathy

There is no “kindness” in lies. And such lies grow so large and invasive, that the liars turn vicious towards the truth-tellers.

‘Environmentalism’ has always been a scam

And it is oh-so-nice when a scammer is busted.

Joe Sanberg, a top California Democrat activist who decried the corruption of big Wall Street banks and started a company marketed as the “cleaner” alternative, actually propped that company up through blatant fraud, he admitted Thursday.

Sanberg and other high-profile Democrats started the carbon-credit platform and online banking app Aspiration Partners Inc., promising to plant trees and not invest in polluting industries. Its motto was “clean rich is the new filthy rich.” It was once a star of the “environmental, social, and governance (ESG)” movement that blended corporate finance with leftist politics, and counted actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Downey Jr. as investors.

But it was instead a scheme as corrupt as any on Wall Street, with Sanberg concocting fake customers for his tree-planting services to try to dupe investors into a $2 billion valuation, the Department of Justice said. Sanberg faces up to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of wire fraud, according to the Department of Justice.

Hollywood! Gavin Newsom! CodePink! The corruption runs deep and wide.

After all, it is California.

This is definitely not Smokey and the Bandit

If you’ve noticed the quality of truck driving going down the last several years (or longer), this is definitely part of the problem.

And we know California, Washington State, and New Mexico have no issue with even illegal aliens getting CDL’s will little-to-no English.

Protect the kids

This is who the Transcult is out to destroy …

Note all the people who went out of their way to try and turn this young woman “trans”. The TQ+ ideology needs to be defeated.

Sunday palate cleanser

I got quite the chuckle out of this because I remember the New York City garbage strike in December of 1975. Desperate citizens took to wrapping trash as Christmas presents set out on the stoops in hopes petty thieves would steal the packages.

Your Sunday smile

A whole bevy of heroes to celebrate.

On June 17, the Bobcats took to the field without any football gear and started their warmups. New offensive coordinator Frank Elsasser ran the team through some basic exercises.

They did cariocas and other basic calisthenics. Elsasser did the warm up with the team to ensure they knew what they were doing.

And that’s where the normalcy of the first day of practice ended.

Elsasser lined the team up on the field to show them the new offense he was itching to run. He said he felt light-headed and collapsed on the 27-yard line.

“He dropped to his hands and knees and then he started to get back up and he just face planted and then he was breathing heavily, really loud,” said Nestucca senior Zeth Chapin. “So we flipped him over onto his back, and that’s when he went silent.”

Panic? Pull out cell phones and record? No, these young men leaped into action. Several started CPR (including one 12th grader who is already a volunteer firefighter and paramedic). Others ran into the school to grab the automated external defibrillator (AED), which the assistant coach then used on Elsasser.

Paramedics finally arrived and it was due to the early intervention of the team that Frank woke up in the hospital the next day rather than his family planning his funeral.

Bravo, gentlemen. Job well done!

And here we are again, at the close of our brunch together. Happily, the rest of Sunday is free for your enjoyment and Monday is a holiday. Even more time to call your own. Dears, let’s gather here next week. Cheers!

Thanks for the segment by the Tomboy! I’ve been saying this to empty heads for so long! As a tomboy myself it hit home although I’m way too old to have suffered more than “she’s so weird” in the girls locker rooms! I’m so happy to see that young woman speaking so clearly, softly, and sincere. I hope that video goes viral!

The blasphemy that the LGBTOMGWTFBBQ community inflicted on Tomboys must never be forgiven. And that young lady’s “teachers” need to be removed from society and dropped off somewhere they can never hurt other children.
