Tonight, in the Presidential Debate, at some point, Kamala Harris is going to pull a face of fake righteous indignation and claim that Donald Trump’s Vice-Presidential pick is as racist and xenophobic as Trump himself is. J.D. Vance has been spreading, allegedly, false stories of Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio eating ducks in the public parks and people’s personal pets. Kamala is not amused by this racism and xenophobia. The real story of the Haitians in this small Central Ohio city is much worse.
The ducks and pets story was kind of out there, but it was fun for kicks and giggles this morning. Even Elon Musk grokked a picture:

Forbes Online shot down the IDEA that Haitian immigrants are eating small creatures with “Police Deny Claims Of Haitian Immigrants Eating Pets In Ohio—Spread By JD Vance And Right-Wing Commentators”:
The Springfield, Ohio, police department says it hasn’t received credible claims of Haitian immigrants abducting and eating pets, despite viral assertions by Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, and other right-wing influencers that appear to have erroneously originated from an incident in a different Ohio city.

Well that does absolutely nothing to settle anything. Just months ago, the State Department swore that Haitian gang leader Barbecue wasn’t eating people. I’ll take of it with a grain of salt. Yes, I did do that.
To give you a mental picture, Springfield, Ohio had a population of about sixty thousand. Like most sentient beings, they plan for that level of population when they think of services. A significant change in population would be a strain on the resources of the city. The Biden/Harris Administration flew twenty thousand Haitian immigrants into the city with Temporary Protective Status:

One fourth of this Central Ohio town is now Haitian. Of course, they all didn’t show up at once. Twenty thousand takes time. According to new Mayor Republican Rob Rue, the huge number is putting a strain on the resources of Springfield, Ohio:
I am happy for Miss Joseph that she found Springfield. She seems like a lovely woman. However, you cannot add to a population with people of another culture and not expect some cultural difficulties. The police say this is not happening but this woman seems quite convinced that it happened to her:

And, a Haitian migrant did kill a school child on a school bus. From the New York Post:
Many residents and local politicians — including Vance — have expressed outrage at the influx, claiming the Haitian population has strained the city’s services and left legal Americans in the lurch.
Tensions have been heightened since August 2023 after a 36-year-old Haitian immigrant – Hermanio Joseph — lost control of a minivan he was driving without a valid US license on highway near Springfield and strayed into the path of an oncoming school bus.
The bus driver swerved to avoid Joseph, and went careering off the road, throwing 11-year-old Aiden Clark from a window and fatally crushing him as it rolled.
Twenty other kids were hospitalized.
That’s far more serious than decapitating the ducks. If you ignore the animal cruelty comments, this man is more concerned about the Haitians driving in Springfield:

Important to remember that these are not illegal immigrants. These are legal immigrants brought in, proudly, by Kamala Harris under Temporary Protected Status approved by Homeland Security’s Alejandro Mayorkas.

They have no intention off assimilating, if they even have the ability to do so. Their island has been a complete train wreck for generations (no thanks to the clintons and their fraud). And, of course, you know the biggest reason their country sucks? It’s not even the Clintons. It’s the fact they rejected Christianity. They’re a pagan nation, worshiping unholy gods. So they do not have the morals required for a civilized nation. (This is true of the nation and an overwhelming number of its citizens, but is not true of all of them.) And, it’s a huge reason not to import them into our country without vetting.

OK, Toni, I have to throw a flag on this one. I refuse to allow “grok” to be abused and misused like this. “Grok” is a word that comes from Heinlein’s Stranger In A Strange Land, and it means to understand something on a deep level, even if you can’t put it into words.

I would disagree. I believe Biden (well, the cabal running his administration) broke the rules when he extended TPS to these people. (Yes, Congress is also responsible, for even allowing this.) I think they are illegally here.

Also, news flash: according to a quick Google search wrong way accidents are up nationally. In fact there have been three major ones this year in Washington State alone. It’s not causation, but it certainly is correlation that 12 million or so invaders from third world countries have come into our country and a great many of them don’t know how to drive but are given licenses by certain “sanctuary” states, and that some other portion of them steal identities of Americans and get licenses that way.
