In the age of Obama anything can happen, like that cyber-terrorist and common criminal-hacker Julian Assange, speaking before the General Assembly of the United Nations today. And we all know that when “the circus comes to town”, the freak show is really remarkable: genocidal madman Robert Mugabe, the Muslim Brotherhood President of Egypt, that beady eyed rat-faced leader from Iran, and now metro-sexual anarchist Julian Assange, via satellite link up.
Day 2 at the UN is filled with people who hate us.
You’ll remember that in 2010, through the treason of Private Bradley Manning, Julian Assange publishing hundreds of thousands of classified government documents through his website WikiLeaks. Though Manning is whining from the brig in Club Leavenworth, Assange is having a very bad day – hiding out; afraid of arrest and extradition – in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. They’ve offered him asylum. But thankfully, the United Kingdom does not recognize it and is vowing to carry through with Assange’s arrest.
Julian Assange claims to be a journalist, using Free Speech and the right to know to defend his actions. But he is no journalist. Rather, he’s a narcissistic global anarchist intent on damaging our government, whose policies he happens to disagree with, regardless of who gets hurt. He should be brought to the US and vigorously prosecuted for espionage under the Espionage Act of 1917. He should not speaking with great fanfare at the UN General Assembly.
Which, of course, brings us around to the ever-present question of: why do we allow the America-hating UN to reside in our country in the first place?
