Seth Moulton, a Massachusetts congressman and one of the few Democrats willing to say out loud that biological males don’t belong in girls’ sports, is about to pay a price for telling the truth. The Iraq veteran and Harvard graduate, once seen as a rising star in the party, is now being targeted in a primary challenge from a transgender activist.
Moulton’s supposed offense? Saying what millions of Americans, including many Democrats, already believe. After Kamala Harris’ humiliating 2024 defeat, Moulton admitted that the party’s obsession with identity politics was driving away voters.
So of course, Moulton must go, and a woman who is pretending to be a man wants his House seat. Her name is Beth Andres-Beck, and she identifies herself as a Software Engineer. Queer. Unitarian-Universalist. Mentor. Tenor. Progressive.
A tenor? Lawd.
It has flown under the radar a bit, but Democratic Massachusetts Rep. Seth Moulton, one of the few in his party who has been outspoken against pro-trans activists, is getting challenged by a bearded woman who identifies as a man.
Moulton, a moderate Harvard graduate and Bronze Star Iraq veteran, is now weighing a primary challenge of his own to unseat left-wing Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey, he confirmed Wednesday. But back in July, Moulton was on the receiving end of a primary threat — for the first time since 2020.
Bethany Andres-Beck, a transgender man who uses “any/all pronouns,” told Boston.com in July that a huge part of her decision to run was that lawmakers like Moulton are too distracted by “wedge issues” like biological boys playing in women’s sports, rather than America’s affordability crisis and the cost of higher education. – Daily Caller
Yes, Bearded Bethany is a woman. The beard, the receding hairline, and the ill-fitting Joseph A. Banks suit will never make her male. But that is not stopping her from pushing this nonsense onto the public. You will get used to it!! I mean, after all, we already have a man pretending to be a woman in Congress with one Tim McBride.
Sometimes trolls on other platforms accuse me of promoting the trans agenda.
That is the perfect excuse to talk about MY trans agenda:
* Prosecute Corruption
* Medicare For All
* Abortion Is Healthcare
* Government Software Should Work For You
* Block The Bombs
* And more!— Beth Andres-Beck (@beth4ma.bsky.social) September 15, 2025 at 5:11 PM
In all seriousness, I knew what I was signing up for when I decided to run. I know it can surprise people when my beard and voice and name don’t fit one gender.
But folks will get used to it. I am just one more kind of person in the world.
Someone has to be the first: I am honored it could be me.

What’s happening to Seth Moulton isn’t just about one primary in Massachusetts. It’s a glimpse of what the Democratic Party has become: a patchwork of warring identity groups, each with its own demands, each ready to cancel the other out the second someone hesitates to clap for the latest cause.
At the same time, the party’s rising stars, AOC, Zohran Mamdani, and the rest, are dragging the base further down the Marxist road. It’s not enough to be progressive anymore. You have to be revolutionary. You have to prove loyalty to the new orthodoxy, no matter how absurd.
And layered on top of it all is the inflammatory, venomous rhetoric with cries of fascist-nazi-racist-bigot and the endless accusations of hate. They have spent years telling their followers that political opponents are monsters, and now they want to wash their hands of the consequences when that poison turns into real-world violence.
You’ve heard it before, but I’ll repeat it: this isn’t the party of your grandparents’ Democrats, or even your parents’. It’s a party no one recognizes anymore, because it no longer bothers pretending to be mainstream. It’s a movement that demands obedience, feeds on outrage, and devours anyone who stands in its way.
Meanwhile, Moulton is reportedly considering an even bigger fight in challenging progressive Senator Ed Markey in the 2026 Democratic primary. Markey survived a challenge from Joe Kennedy III in 2020 by doubling down on his far-left credentials. If Moulton enters that race, voters will face a stark choice: a party grounded in reality or one drifting deeper into ideological fantasy.
But Moulton is no conservative champion. He still parrots standard Democratic talking points and has even blamed “right-wing violence” for America’s divisions.
Less than 24 hours after Charlie Kirk was gunned down, Dem Rep Seth Moulton attacks “right wing extremists” as the cause of the vast majority of political violence in the country.
“We need to be honest as a nation, about where this violence is coming from.”
He then adds… pic.twitter.com/NoVisq6jxU

So when this kind of Democrat, one who still carries the party’s water on plenty of issues, is too “dangerous” to tolerate simply for acknowledging biological reality, then the Democratic Party’s drift into delusion isn’t just nearly complete, it’s the new normal. This is no longer a coalition of ideas; it’s a purity cult that punishes doubt and demands obedience. And if they’re willing to devour one of their own over basic truth, imagine what they’ll do to the rest of us who refuse to bow to the madness.
Whatever voters they have left should take notice, because much of the party’s base already has been conditioned to accept the absurd. That blind loyalty is exactly what keeps this dangerous ideology alive.

I am a resident of the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District. The 6th district (along with the 9th on the South Shore) is one of the few districts that is vaguely competitive in MA. It is dominated by Salem and its College students. Representative Moulton is Salem resident though he grew up in Marblehead (borders Gloucester). Andres-Beck is a resident of Middleton Ma. a medium sized upper middle to upper class suburb (a “starter” Home runs ~$650K++). If Andres-Beck were from Salem they might have a shot at it, but the wealthy suburbs are highly despised by the more old line Blue Collar areas. A lot will depend on turnout. In Massachusetts, you MUST be a registered Democrat to vote in the Democrat primary OR an unenrolled (i.e. independent) voter who then switches to registered Democrat at the polls. Andres-Beck may get a strong turnout from the more liberal Democrats and Independents. Kind of makes me want to change my registration back to unenrolled so I can cause a little havoc. That can wait well into next summer, though. I doubt Andres-Beck get enough support at the convention to earn a spot, and that means she’ll have to get LOTS of signatures from across the 6th and that’s going to be a challenge. That said, if she were to defeat Moulton the 6th MIGHT be in play if the Massachusetts Republicans are paying attention and competent (neither of which is a given).
Thank you for all of that info!! I wish yall luck!
