Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Gets Ritual Beating From Senate Finance Committee

Who knew that C-SPAN could be the Roman Circus of the Digital Age? Hungry lions were looking to nosh on the day’s sacrifice. Gladiator Senators were trying to show off their rhetorical blade skills, when most of them have the skills of rusty butter knives. The World’s Greatest Deliberative Body is a bunch of loser, high school government types. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. went before the Senate Finance Committee for his ritual beating. The Senators ended up with self-inflicted rusty butter knife wounds.

These putzes should not be allowed out in public without keeper staff. I don’t care for Secretary Kennedy, but these mouth-breathing wumps could make most villains look sympathetic.

These Senators are a bunch of fat rats’ backsides. They just want to prove to the Democrat Party faithful that they are fighters. Grrr! Threatening and uber ugly. Democrat Senators’ feelings were extra hurt because they thought RFK, Jr. was one of them. He is part of their Royal Family. He has abandoned them and become part of the Trump Squad of Enemies.

Senator Elizabeth “Liawatha” Warren is so shrill with faux anger that it’s impossible to listen to her. From ABC News:

Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren accused Kennedy of turning back on his statements during his confirmation hearing that he would not take away vaccines for Americans who want them.

“What you should be doing is honoring your promise that you made when you were looking to get confirmed in this job,” Warren said. The senator took issue with changes to COVID-19 vaccine recommendations, which public health officials and pharmacist groups have said will make it harder for young and healthy people to get the vaccine should they still choose to do so.

“I’m not taking them away from people, senator,” Kennedy said repeatedly during the exchange.

More:

Kennedy claimed that anyone can get COVID-19 vaccines at their pharmacy for free, however, pharmacies are being selective due to the limbo of federal regulations.

The FDA has approved the updated shots for only older and high-risk Americans, and the CDC vaccine panel is set to meet to discuss potential recommendations in a few weeks.

Amid the regulatory uncertainty, some pharmacies have said that access to the shots may vary state-by-state and may require a prescription.

Other than a couple of my Covid obsessed neighbors, I didn’t know anyone still wanted a Covid shot.

Senator Maria Cantwell has been in government nearly her entire professional life. Here she lectures Secretary Kennedy on MRNA technology. I love vaccines. Listen to how many facts she gets wrong in this exchange:

Here is how the exchange went:

U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell lobbed a verbal grenade at the nation’s top health official on Thursday, blasting him as a “charlatan.” The exchange between the Washington state Democrat and Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. came during a Senate Finance Committee hearing on “The President’s 2026 Health Care Agenda.” Kennedy’s testimony arrives on the heels of multiple shakeups at the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and amid new restrictions on access to the COVID-19 vaccine.

Cantwell condemned Kennedy, a vocal vaccine skeptic, for “not following science.” She noted his cancellation of nearly $500 million in funding for the development of mRNA vaccines used to combat viruses that cause illness such as COVID-19. That research, she said, is needed to be prepared for the next influenza or pandemic. “I’m happy to have a detailed discussion with you about it,” Kennedy said, cutting Cantwell off. “You are so wrong on your facts.”

“You’re interrupting me, and sir, you’re a charlatan,” Cantwell countered. “That’s what you are. You’re the ones who conflate chronic disease with the need for vaccines.” The verbal volley comes a day after Washington announced the launch of a new West Coast Health Alliance, alongside California and Oregon, aimed at offering the region’s residents solid evidence-based recommendations about immunizations amid federal-level shifts. Cantwell referenced the alliance’s formation, telling Kennedy that its three Democratic governors “will take up the efficacy of science” amid a dearth of federal-level vaccine support.

Not all vaccines are the same and MRNA tech is questionable at best. If we cannot speak honestly, we are dead. Speaking of brain dead:

These alleged Senators should be shunned. They are an embarrassment. Sadly.

Questioning science is how you do science. We use Einstein’s theories of relativity all the time. Time travels slightly faster (or slower) if you are higher up. We have to take that into account when dealing with satellites.

Yet physicists keep testing his theories.
