Well, that didn’t take long at all. Now, a real lesson must be taught. It was just a couple of days ago that Newark, New Jersey Mayor Ras Baraka and three U.S. Congresscritters from New Jersey acted out at the ICE Facility known as Delaney Hall. Baraka was arrested and detained for a spit, but nothing much happened to the other three. Last night, protestors from faith based groups pulled stunts again and this time, they need to find out really, really hard.
As Deanna told you two days ago, these detainees aren’t in Delaney Hall because they skipped home room or got caught vaping in the boys’ room:
But just like the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, they are rushing to defend people without checking WHO they actually are. The DHS X account put out a thread on some of the illegals they currently have incarcerated at Delaney Hall, which include MS-13 members, a Brazilian national with an INTERPOL warrant for homicide, and a criminal with felony convictions for drug trafficking, among others. Some real winners there, right? Again, who is advising the Democrats to keep pulling these stunts?
The Democrat advisors probably are thinking it worked the last time. Remember the “mostly peaceful” Summer of Love in 2020? These protestors look better too. With their religious stoles, they look authoritative. Bah. Not like last week, either:
From New Jersey 11 PIX:
At least two people were arrested when protesters and police pushed and shoved each other outside an immigration detention facility in Newark Monday evening.
It happened at around 5 p.m. outside Delaney Hall, which was reopened by ICE and the President Donald Trump Administration. Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested and accused of trespassing at the facility last Friday.
Baraka was not at Monday’s protest, led by religious leaders from around the tri-state area. They locked arms outside of the two gates of the immigration facility, impeding anyone from entering or leaving throughout the afternoon.
When it was time for a shift change at the facility Monday evening, Police forcibly moved protesters to allow immigration workers to come and go.
At least two arrests were made with one woman shouting “everyone should be free” while handcuffed in the back of a Newark Police squad car.
Hold on there Baba Looey. The facility was “reopened” by ICE? Yes, it was a prison before. Now, it will be run by The GEO Group:
GEO Group spokesperson Christopher Ferreira said Delaney Hall has a valid certificate of occupancy issued by Newark and complies with health and safety requirements, and that the attempt by the mayor’s office to stop the facility from opening was a political campaign to keep the federal government from arresting, detaining and deporting criminal immigrants.
In February, Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced that it had reached a 15-year agreement with The GEO Group to make the 1,196-bed Delaney Hall the first detention center to open during Trump’s second term, during which the president has vowed to deport 11 million undocumented immigrants.
Eleven million illegal immigrants is a good start. What is it that these clergy with their linked arms want? From the Faith In Action website:
Bishop Dwayne Royster, executive director, Faith in Action, “Delaney Hall is a toxic facility, paid for by Medicaid. Snap benefits are being cut to ensure the Delany Hall’s of this country thrive, that we have funds to deport people without due process. It is immoral to cut vital programs that support essential healthcare and food for children, It is immoral to tear families and communities apart through mass deportation. It is immoral to provide mass tax breaks to billionaires at the expense of those families. It is imperative that federally funded sites continue to submit themselves to local and state regulations where they are located. The federal government is not beyond the law of the city of Newark nor of the State New Jersey.”
Charlene D. Walker, Executive Director of Faith in New Jersey, said: “GEO Group and ICE operate as rogue actors, violating state and local laws while imprisoning our beloved siblings at Delaney Hall. This is lawless tyranny, and people of faith refuse to remain silent. We demand immediate closure, full transparency about those held captive, and faith leader access to provide spiritual care. Elected officials must choose: stand with Mayor Baraka or with corporate profiteers. We need bold action like that of Congressman Al Green, not more political theater. We will resist, disrupt, and persist as our faith demands—until all are free.”
Holy smokes! I don’t think these Faith in Action people love the Lord and want to preach the Good News. I think they are flat out Marxists. I wholeheartedly concur with the opinion of Chadociraptor.
Fakes. These people are wearing their "faith" like a costume. It's theater kid pinkos doing stupid pinko propaganda publicity stunts, and the MSM is eating it up.

Just the same way the legacy media ate of the 2020 Summer of Love narrative and fanned the flames, they will do the same thing here. That’s why these faux faith leaders are jonesing to be arrested. Give them what they want. Let them find out harder every time.

Bishop Dwayne Royster and Charlene D. Walker appear to be complete morons according to their own words. It’s good when blithering idiots self-identify.
It is immoral to cut vital programs that support essential healthcare and food for children
Not by Christian morals, it isn’t.
It is immoral to tear families and communities apart through mass deportation.
No, actually, it isn’t. Because those people are illegally here, and anyone associated with them knows it (with very few exceptions), I don’t care if those associations are torn apart. (And it really isn’t happening as often as they would like to make it seem.) Oh, and “mass deportations” is a misnomer. It’s used to try and make it seem indiscriminate.
It is immoral to provide mass tax breaks to billionaires at the expense of those families.
Maybe so, but you haven’t made that case. (And it sure as heckfire is irrelevant to your little “religious” posturing moment.) BTW, he likes the word “mass” so much it just pops up in statements like this. Do we have so many billionaires in the US that tax breaks for them can be described as “mass” in any way, shape, or form?
The federal government is not beyond the law of the city of Newark nor of the State New Jersey.
Actually, dingleberry, it is. In many ways the sovereignty of the US government overrides local sovereignty – at least in cases where that sovereignty is legitimately asserted. And the facility claims to have all the permits and inspections necessary, according to local and state law.
GEO Group and ICE operate as rogue actors
Ummm, no, they don’t, in this case. There’s contracts, laws, and everything. You’re going for the “lying emotional pitch” aren’t you?
violating state and local laws
Citing facts not in evidence.
while imprisoning our beloved siblings
Oh yeah, the “lying emotional pitch” again.
No, dipwad, it’s not “lawless tyranny” or any of the other emotionally laden lies you’re spouting.
We demand … faith leader access to provide spiritual care.
I almost guarantee you have that – IF you actually go through the process to do so. I will also guarantee that you don’t really have a spirit (OK, you probably have a spirit of lies indwelling you) that’s in accord with anything except the religion of self.
Elected officials must choose: stand with Mayor Baraka or with corporate profiteers.
False dilemma fallacy. Typical of a dishonest debater. And it makes you sound like a commie.
We need bold action like that of Congressman Al Green, not more political theater.
Ummm, I’m not sure what that fallacy is, but it’s like the opposite of a false dilemma. In this case it’s describing as a choice two things that are the same thing. “You can have lemonade, or you can have water with some lemon juice and sugar in it.”
until all are free
Maybe you should put down your Jesus-as-a-commie bit, then, and start preaching Christ crucified. That’s the only way you’re going to set everyone free. (BTW, that also requires preaching the Law, and people’s depravity under said law, so they know their need for Jesus’ sacrifice and can then sanctify their lives through His power.)
Let them spend a couple of days in a cell with their “beloved siblings “. That ought to get their minds right.
Without law enforcement supervision.
Trebuchet rides for everyone.
The rule of law died almost 20 years ago when Hilary was Obamas Secretary of State. Anything goes now. Except for the common people who are distained by both parties.
