Obama’s Shadow Fades: The End of the Puppet Show

Obama’s influence lasted far longer than anyone expected—or most of us wanted. His policies and style became so ingrained in the Democratic Party and American politics that it almost felt like his shadow was impossible to escape.

Barack Hussein Obama’s hold on the political scene seems to be slipping. Biden’s fumbling presidency and Kamala’s disastrous campaign are clear signs that his influence is losing power. His once iron-clad control is starting to crumble, and it’s about time. The clock is ticking.

Even with Trump in office from 2017 to 2021, Obama’s influence didn’t just disappear. Behind the scenes, his policies and the people he had put in place across Congress and the Senate continued pushing his agenda. The machinery Obama set in motion remained well-oiled, ensuring his fingerprints were all over Washington. This made it clear that his hold on the political scene wasn’t done just because he left the Oval Office.

Arrogance

During Obama’s second term, the Democrats leaned hard into what could only be described as a cartoonish approach to identity politics. The pitch seemed to be: “We’ve got government programs with your name on them—just vote blue!” A theme Biden continued to hammer down from the safety of his Delaware basement when he was campaigning.

In 2021, after a campaign that barely left the basement, Biden took office—and it didn’t take long before it was clear who was really calling the shots. The Democrats may have switched faces, but the same old playbook was still in action.

Upon taking office, Biden mandated race preferences and DEI rules across 90 different federal agencies — what leading race theorist Coleman Hughes refers to as the neo-racism of the left.

Open borders were supposed to buy Hispanic votes. Green New Deal wars on oil and gas industries that most of the big players on the global stage would reject were supposed to buy young voters.

Biden’s strategy wasn’t just a failure—it was an insult. Race-based DEI mandates? Nothing but divisive virtue-signaling.

This wasn’t leadership; it was arrogance, built on the assumption that voters are too stupid to see through it. Turns out, they’re not—and they won’t forget it.

Voters made it clear that they hate being treated like a one-size-fits-all group. The left’s “identity hustle” keeps reducing people to a checklist of labels, ignoring the fact that voters want more than token gestures or shallow pandering. They want to be seen for their values, not just played as pawns in a game of identity politics.

Real Hope And Change

With the American people making it clear they don’t want to continue down this path, it’s time to say goodbye to Obama’s “hope and change.” The real hope is reversing the destructive policies that would’ve fundamentally transformed America the way Obama intended.

If you have 40 minutes or so, this is a thoughtful message.

After years of dragging us through their mess, the Democrats are finally realizing it’s time to stop clinging to the Obama-era fantasy. But don’t fool yourself—this wasn’t some accidental oversight. They built this mess on purpose, tying their future to a failing ideology that fed into division and bloated government. Now, after all this, they act like they’re ready for a change?

Obama called the shots—Biden was just a puppet. His legacy? Being Obama’s yes-man, carrying out his failed agenda without ever stepping up to lead on his own.

The only good from Obama is that he proved what a bad idea affirmative action is in hiring practices.
